Update: Discernment is one thing, being mean and hateful is something uncalled for. Witnessing for our Lord should be our first priority. Original Message:I am so tired of the fighting on this list. What really bothers me is most of it occurs between Christians. We are to be a light unto the world. Some Christians only rate on this site and 90% of the time it is negative. If a new Christian (saved under the ministry of a TV evangelist) reads all of this bickering they may get discouraged. It's OK to give your opinion but you can do so and still let people know that Jesus loves them and that all fall short of the glory of God. It is by God's grace and that alone that any of us are saved. Not all TV evangelists are evil as some may think. Many come to know the Lord under these ministries. Lift people up in prayer before you criticize. God will deal with the unjust.

Benny Hinn during one of his "crusades" pronounced a curse on everyone who dared speak out against his ministry, preached on TBN that he wished that he could find a scripture that said that if you don't like someone who criticizes you, you can shoot them, and said, "I wish I had a holy ghost machine gun, I'd blow your heads off." Paul Crouch looked at the camera and told his critics, "To hell with you! I don't wanna even talk to you, I don't wanna see your ugly face!" John Hagee stands in the pulpit and calls people "nincompoops," tells liberal senators and congressmen that they're going to hell because they vote in favor of something Hagee disagrees with or votes against something that Hagee AGREES with, tells homosexuals that they will either change or burn in hell for eternity. Creflo Dollar, Ken Copeland, Robert Tilton, and every single prosperity pimp tell poor and sick people that they are poor because they don't give to their ministry, don't sow enough "seeds" or don't "tithe,"... Donovan, first of all, please be assured that I respect your opinion on this, and I'm not trying to shoot you down, but I would ask you a series of questions, if nothing else but for clarity sake. Could you give an example of what you mean by it being ok to give an opinion but doing it and letting people know that Jesus loves them? Not sure exactly what you mean. Do you ever wonder why there are THOUSANDS of Christian denominations? THOUSANDS!!! Can they all be right? Is it true that there is dissention among ALL denominations of christianity? One group believes that you must be baptised in water to be saved, and one doesn't. Who's right? Both cannot be right...it's utterly impossible. One group says you have to be filled with the holy spirit and speak in tongues to be saved, and one doesn't. One group says that if you are poor and you are sickly, then God's favor isn't on you, or you're living in some kind of sin, and another denomination believes that troubles and tials are a definit...
