Fri Dec 04 20097/7/2006, 3 stars: Quite Ok, but compared to another movie based on Robert Louis Stevenson's book, this one is less appealing, but just OK for kids that like to see the future. for older audiences, it would be uncomforting and unsensical for a classic to be doctored up to things that are light years away from earth and the additions of recent and advanced technologies. Recent and after reading the book: Star is removed-it seems that the book is starting to be tweaked in every movie made. I did not understand that some places were taken out in the movie and that the ending was too happy. Anyhow, that is how the studios in these productions want to have.
