My experience with TSI was positive. The customer service representative who worked with me was knowledgeable and helpful, and my items arrived quickly.

Can't say enough good...the pickup was on-time, the driver couldn't have been better (some of the other online shippers require that YOU lift everything onto the truck) he helped me with everything..my new Plasma TV and all my things arrived in absolutely perfect condition...Delivery was ontime with the same incredible courtesy. TSI ROCKS!

I was amazed when my shipment arrived. In 40-odd years of moves, I've learned to brace myself for a few damaged items -- but not a piece of china or glass was even cracked, let alone broken! This was a cross-country move, too. Transit Systems set up the whole process efficiently and was very prompt and helpful, so the whole experience was great.

This was a great way to ship my belongings. The price was right (WAY better than any other place I looked into) and the service was great. Both pick up and delivery were on time. And my belongings arrived unharmed.

Getting a quote was very quick and the scheduling was done immediately. The service was amazing. The driver contacted nme at least a week before he reached my area and kept in touch along the way. I feel extremely confident in recommending TSI to anyone in the future. This was a very important piece of furniture that has been in the family for a very long time and it was handled with care and dignity. The TSI staff is extremely courteous.

My contact person, Natalie, was always accessible and answered my emails the same day. I asked for a discount because 3 family membrs also used TSI, and it was done. Natalie was quick to respond, very polite on the phone, very helpful w/all my questions. I'd never done anything exactly like this before so I was a little nervous and did ask a lot of questions---Natalie was courteous and professional the whole time. When my furniture arrived in OR the moving men called me and we set up a window for the next day---and these men too were very polite and friendly! Unfortunately they ran into some car trouble in Roseburg but they called me every hour to update me and asked if they could come a little later and I said certainly--so they came and brought my very heavy furniture down into my basement---very narrow staircase, I still don't know how they did it---and everything looks great. Used TSI for a furniture shipment from Albuquerque to New York. The furniture was packed very well and the delivery men did a nice job unpacking and moving it in to my basement.

The worst ever!!! They are advertised to be grandfather clock moving specialists but do not ensure that their low bidder subcontractor knows how to move a clock. They misquoted 3 times and promised to schedule pick up within 10 days. When prodded for a pick up date, their customer service agent, Natalie, was consistently quick to point out that this "rush" (on day 10) was not her fault. Purchased in late May from a private home, the clock now sits in someone's storefront awaiting word from another party to crate it for shipping which is not expected to occur until August! Don't waste your time or money on these people. This review is for Transit Systems Inc.

This was the first time I ever shipped. Chris was helpful, honest, and direct.

I really appreciated the ease of this service. I think that the fellow who picked up my delivery was surprised that there was not much to it. I am very pleased to have the bed frame and artwork in my possession, all the way from upper NY state to central Florida.

My father bought a console stereo in 1969 when I was 12. He passed away a year ago and my stepmother offered it to me. It had never been moved in 40 years and was in perfect, flawless condition. Best of all, it still worked! I was glad to have something of my Dad's so I contracted with TSI to have it shipped from Florida to California. The TSI person I spoke with has helpful, polite and professional. Unfortunately TSI contracts out their business to a carrier, and the shipper I got did extensive damage to the unit. It arrived with three of the four legs broken off and one missing altogether. Due to the curvilinear Scandinavian design of the legs repair was not easy or cheap. I ended up having to drive the unit in my van 120 miles (one way) to the nearest furniture repair expert who could restore it. The repairs cost $800. At Transit Systems I spoke with someone named Mary Beth on the phone and she was very helpful and very pleasant. She gave me an accurate price answered all my questions during several calls before I went ahead and scheduled my move. I had to ship a dining room set and two sofas from Florida to Wisconsin. Two men made the pick up which was on time, and delivery to me was also on time by two different men. I was told they were very nice when they picked up the furniture and I was there at the delivery and was very happy with the service.

MY TSI experience was very good. The person I spoke to, Jason, gave me a price that was good and was extremely helpful in accommodating me on the dates that I needed to meet. I was not going to be at the pickup and as a result was very concerned but Jason stayed in touch including the morning of the pickup and then afterwards. The delivery agents were very careful. Everything was delivered promptly on time. I have already recommended TSI to a friend and am happy to recommend them.

The TSI movers were excellent! The two men who picked up the items at my parents' house were friendly to my them and very professional. They were shipping me a dining room set with a tale and six chairs that originally belonged to my grandmother. Very beautiful but heavy! There was also a dresser and night table and a stuffed chair. When they delivered the furniture to my house they were very careful moving the things in. They put them exactly where I wanted, even though two of them had to go upstairs. The process for getting a quote was very easy also and all the people I dealt with were polite and helpful. All in all it was a very good experience.

We moved some furniture and other household items from PA to IL. Everything went as TSI advertised. We weren't quite finishing boxing some smaller stuff when the moving guys arrived but they were okay and actually helped us finish. I gave them a nice tip after they finished loading. Everything arrived fine. I recommend their services.

I was very happy to find someone who could do a move as small as mine, since the first 2 companies I called told me they couoldn't do it. I only had to move my bedroom set and about 20 boxes. Going from Austin, TX to Massachusetts. I had lots of correspondance regarding the details and the workers who came to pick up and deliver my bedroom set and boxes were great! Everything was done on time. Definitely a relief and a good experience.

I couldn't have been happier with TSI's service. My furniture was wrapped by me but additional packaging was done by them to protect the pieces. They were shipped from Illinois to Austin, TX and they arrived in perfect condition. From the first time I spoke with Carol on the phone all the way through delivery I felt comfortable and relieved at the service and response. I will recommend TSI to anyone who needs furniture shipped.

I moved from FL to AZ and the entire process went much smoother than I expected. I dealt exclusively with Belinda, who was extremely helpful and absolutely wonderful to work with. The original quote was more than I expected but less than two other companies, once I spoke to them. The thing I liked best with Transit Systems is that they explained the price upfront and that it included inside pickup and delivery, how much insurance coverage etc. While one of the other companies didn't say anything about any of that and when I called back they were vague about it. I probably made at least four calls to Transit Systems, once spoke to someone else and the rest of the times to Belinda, and each time they were pleasant no problem. Once the move started the guys at the pickup were very courteous, provided excellent service, and handled all of my belongings with extreme care. I had a sofa and dining room set picked up in chapel hill and delivered to me in washingtons state. I was nervous to say the least. Natalie from Transit Systems was very helpful and profesional. The movers called me several times during the day to update me about their location and their estimated arrival. They were wonderful. EVerything was delivered on time. I would use them again without a doubt.

Called Transit Systems for a small move from Boston back to San Jose. The price was good, which actually is a little scary sometimes. But they explained it all to me. I'd seen a negative review on another site so I was VERY leery but I'd also seen good reviews too so after talking with them about exactly how it worked I decided they were legit. Now I'm glad I used them. The weird thing was that my stuff was in transit when my ex-roommate sent me an email with a link to this site, which I hadn't seen before. Probably wouldn't have used them if I'd seen it. But I got my stuff on time and without any hassles. I'd use them again, definitely.

I had them ship my mattress, and it should have taken 3-5 days, 15 days later it finaly shows up... after I've slept on the floor for 2 weeks! on top of that, they were late picking up the bed, and late dropping it off. it should have been picked up between 12 and 5... when I called them, they said they would be there in an hour, in an hour, I call back, they try to tell me it won't get picked up until the next day. but I'm leaving the next morning, so no one will be around for the pickup! they finaly got it around 730 when I was sitting down to the last meal with my family! when it finaly did arive, they told me between 1 and 3, then maybe by 4, then maybe by 5, then at about 630, the driver finaly shows up! and the package was thrashed! it looked like they had ran it over with a forklift! there was what looked like forklift grease on the matress and holes torn in the box! I recently moved with Transit Systems across the country and had a horrible experience. They bill themselves as the "small move specialists" but have no experience to back that up. My move took over 2 months door to door, with a final price 2x the initial quote. If you are currently in talks with them, stop immediately. They are a 3rd party shipper that contracts your move out to larger companies that operate their own trucks like North American Van Lines, Beakins, and United Van Lines. To quote the driver who delivered my load, "my advise is next time go straight to one of the majors." I whole heartedly agree. You won't regret taking my advice.
