Sun Jan 23 2005train was formed in '94 and opened with a self-titled album, it contained the song meet virginia which gave train a good start...their follow-up album drops of jupiter is their most succesful album yet, with the grammy award-winning song drops of jupiter, it topped the charts and the radio stations ate it up....their most recent album my private nation contained the previoiusly released single calling all angels which was successful mostly due to radio exposure, my private nation also contained the well radio-played song when i look to the sky the entire album reflectes train's talent and their somewhat mellow and catchy sound...in '04 train released a single for the spiderman 2 soundtrack the song ordinary seemed a little heavy for train's previously soft-rock sounds, ordinary was played breifly by radio stations but didn't recieve much credit...train has had excellent songs and success so far...is another smash hit is in their agenda?...we'll wait with drops of jupiter for now.

Thu Dec 23 2004don't judge 'em by what you hear on the radio. train rocks - especially live. by the way there is no diane warren involved. train writes their own songs.

Thu Apr 22 2004Train, in my opinion, is a wonderful band, and while I have only two of their cds, their lyrics are different and varied and their songs still mean something

Sun Mar 28 2004Train is an awesome band to see live, or just listen to in the car. Train is full of great people, with great musical talents that keep me smiling everyday. Lead singer Pat Monahan, has an amazing voice, great sense of humor, and GREAT LOOKS!! The rest of the band are beautiful people, they are very kind and caring. The only flaw to me regarding Train is that they cant stay in my city forever. This is a very talented, and beautiful group of people, and I think that they deserve all the respect in the world for the wonderful music that they create.

Thu Dec 04 2003I bought Train's latest album, My Private Nation for the song Calling All Angels. I love the song, and was expecting more like it on the CD. Well, I was a little disappointed. The only other song on the CD that I truly like is When I Look to the Sky -- the rest are clever lyrically, but not musically. The rest of the songs are almost nerve-shattering; the smooth voice that we hear on the radio is totally not evident in most of the tracks. Many of the songs are so obnoxious that I turn skip over them until my ears stop bleeding. Anyway, I still like their released songs and find the lead singer awfully cute, but I wouldn't suggest buying their album.

Fri Nov 14 2003Whenever I hear one of their songs I automatically change the station. There was once a time when making music required talent. I just wish that someone would stop Train from making any other songs that suck.

Sun Aug 10 2003Their music is formulaic, by-the numbers, snoozeworthy schlock-rock.
