Not that I'm a believer in angels, but if they do exist, would they really be this smarmy? The few times I watched I found myself wishing one of the ass-kicker angels like Michael would show up and slap the snot out of someone.

Great spiritually uplifting show. Not too exiting though. Glad to see this show made it as a regular show. Just glad there weren't a host of copycats!

THIS SHOW ROX! It is such an inspirational show! How angels interact in ppl' lives, how Tess and Monica are such good friends. Candycane and Comic Tangent have no taste I see!! :P >:P And the good thing is that this show is not religious. Religion divides while spirituality unites. :)

This show was awesome in it's first, second and third season. And then later Roma Downey became so ugly! It was like a spirit creature had went from a bright light to a wicked witch trying to be an angel. And not to long after this happened the show broke down and was boring enough to make you want to go outside and get some fresh air. Touched By An Angel started off great but in the end it had been passed by shows like Joan Of Arcadia or Everwood(it's not a show about angels that will make you cry but it somehow gives me hope and makes me say I am glad to be alive and might do the same for you. The only problem is the sexual hints the creators of the show put in Everwood that will make you want to click from the WB). Somehow Touched By An Angel kept on going but slowly melted away and was cancelled in 2002(it could have been cancelled in 2003 but I don't care I was just glad when they took their bow). I will be surprised if Roma downey gets any work with her face messed up like it is. ... Read more

In a world full of programs void of any moral value whatsoever, this was a welcome change of pace. This could have stood to have run a season or two longer. But Hallmark still shows the reruns, and I can see them anytime I want.

I know it ran its course and I am sorry to see it gone, but it was an excellent program, offering up hope to the hopeless. You don't have to be religious to 'get' this show, it offers someone's explanations of what it's all about and that's good, we need to hear something positive once in a while. I will miss it and all of the characters.

Occasionally good, but overly didactic and smarmy. Still, better than a lot of other Christian-themed shows I've seen. At least it had heart.

It's easy to forget what a groundbreaking show this was. The concept was simple, and the variations on it were skillfully rendered for many seasons. I never failed to get something fresh out of a new episode, even after I thought they had already covered every bit of ground they could. It was the first drama show on television to paint God in a positive, and in my view, accurate light. This show affected many, many lives for the better. Thanks to Martha Williamson for this remarkable series.

This show should be a template for many other shows. There are too few family shows out there that put out a strong message to people. It should have been on another 9 years. I miss it so much. Sundays aren't the same anymore. I think everyone should watch the reruns.

Great show to watch when tired of the same ol raunchiness and violence on tv. I found you don't have to be a terribly religious person to enjoy it. I think they just tried to emphasize love without getting into all the politics of it. Thumbs up!!

The show was somewhat entertaining. I personally felt the inaccuracy of depicting an angel as female was too much to take, although the actress portraying the angel is very talented.

I like the idea of a show with good, Christian values on the air, but I found Touched by an Angel to be a total waste of my time. I found it way too sappy and saccharine for my taste. (This coming from a woman who reads Chicken Soup for the Soul books and the Family Circus comic strip.) The acting and writing were so bad and the plots were so stupid that I couldn't help laughing, and this is a drama! I don't know how this show lasted on CBS for a decade while good shows like Early Edition, Presidio Med, LA Doctors, and Family Law get cancelled after only one or two seasons. I'll take The Simpsons over this horrible train wreck any day.

Touched By An Angel was one of my favorite shows for the longest time. Unfortunately, 2 mistakes were made by whomever is in charge. One, they never should have moved it from Sunday night. That time slot was perfect. Secondly, when Valerie Bertinelli joined the cast, it was not the same. The character of Gloria was not necessary. I imagine that Tess, Monica and Andrew will live on in reruns. Hopefully without Gloria. Anyway, I'm sad that the show was cancelled. It was good while it lasted; the show was wholesome and good for the entire family.

It's about time there is a show on TV that has characters with ethics and morals. I can watch this show with anyone of any age/sex and not wonder if something is going to happen that will embarass me. It's also nice to have a show to watch that has a positive message. My only problem sometimes is having enough kleenex near by. The additon of a "new" angel, Gloria, (Valerie Bertinelli), is a plus for this show. After watching it for 8 years now, I never get tide of it or bored with it. I encourage anyone who is looking for a show to watch with their children on Saturday evenings, or just with a good friend to watch this show!

This is one of the few shows that, to me, seems to have any redeeming qualities, such as trying to live a life according to God, recognizing and righting wrongs, and staring down violence. I enjoy it for the messages and the morals that are demonstrated each week. I watch it on PAX television, which is coincidental because "pax" is Latin for "peace." Besides, Monica is one good-looking woman, to boot.

I can not imagine someone calling this show "terrible". That the "terrible" percentage is as high as it is is not only surprising but sad. TV certainly needs more programs like this one. It is nearly impossible to find anything on TV these days, especially primetime, that I will watch, let alone allow my daughters to watch. Having "Touched By An Angel" on the air and doing so well rating-wise brings a glimmer of hope to me. It tells me that our country is not quite as bad off as maybe I had thought earlier. We need to get back to the basics; the realization that there is a God, and, yes, He does love us, but also that we will be held accountable for the things we should not do. God bless all who bring us "Touched By An Angel"!
