Tue Feb 09 2010Contact the FTC to bring any claims against total finance. Their local # is 1-877-382-4357. All the calls any of their collectors make are usually illegal. If they ever threaten you (with anything) and leave a voicemail keep it to use against the collector in a court of law. And they do this because alot of their clients are immigrants who don't know their rights or take advantage of people with low credit scores. And the people in charge of all this are Fabiola Jaime & Howard Stillman. She's his girlfriend and he's the owner. (Her nickname is big jugs).

Tue Jan 26 2010We had our vehicle financed through them by car outlet and it has since been the biggest mistake we have ever made. The staff is unprofessional and not trained at all in customer services. I once made a payment for one months due and without authorization they added a second months due thus sending my bank account into the negative. With the whole economy tanking I was once 2 weeks late with my payment and they began a series of harrassing phone calls to my contacts and employer, over a payment that was 2 weeks late. When they call your contacts on your application they don't just simply ask to speak to you they layout your whole account info for everyone to know your buisness. I honestly think they are boarder line breaking some buisness ethics laws!!!!

Sun Jan 03 2010this is the worse place to finance for a car loan. they don't report your payments to the credit report. second when you call them and ask what's going on , they seem lost and confuse. so they put you on hold and never get back at you . I took a car from car outlet nice car but everything from there sucks too. the only reason I took a car from there is to help my credit. but since they not reporting it, is not helping me at all. all they said is the they'll print out a letter saying im making my payments. look mofos I don't want a letter. I want my credit points!

Thu Dec 31 2009It all started in 2008, i wanted to build up my credit, what better way to build credit by finance a car. I already had a car, i just wanted to build my credit. So my friend told me to go to car outler (also run by idiots). I took a car, the car hasnt fail thats the only good thing from them. all though every time it rains i see puddles inside my car. (any one wants to go swimming) anyways, i was planning to buy another car from a defferent dealer for my wife. The dealer ran both of our credits, he say our credit stink the total finance office. I told him im oaying of my car on time, not a day late. He then show me the computer and told me that it shows that i did toook a car from car outlet. But total finance hasnt report any of my payments (2 years of paying) i was like wtf!!! he say if they will of report it, ill of gotten some kick ass credit. So it was then when i call total finance and quesiton them "why haven yous guys report any of my payments?" they reply " oh, es que we h... Read more

Tue Nov 03 2009This place is a complete joke. I have had problems with them since day 1! There is no structure. They aren't set up to take payments online, don't even have a website! at one point I had to use my sisters credit card to make a payment. The following months I paid on mine. They kepy my sisters on file and made a transaction without her or I even knowing or authorizing! they are insane and they are Deliberately insulting our inteligence. Honestly, this place gives hispanic run businesses a bad name and it's sad. I wouldn't even recommend this place to my worst enemies. Es una desgracia ese lugar. I thought I could count on them they have failed me time and time again.

Thu Oct 29 2009Just check out the BB website on this company....I myself have file 3 complaints against them. It took me 18 months to even get a copy of the contract for my car and then I found out they sold me a warranty for $1200 that I could not even use and refused to refund me. STEER CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY!!!

Mon Oct 26 2009These are the worst of the worst people. Probably hire all the HS drop-outs, they don't know the first thing about service. Anyone who writes a positive review works there.

Wed Oct 21 2009I Strongly Disagree with the reviews!. I purchased my vehicle, at CarOutlet. The staff members are very friendly, and professional. They took very good care of me. I asked them for a car and they gave me exatcly what i was looking for! LOVE IT!. Then my vehicle got finance through Total Finance, which i also LOVE. Couldnt ask for a better representative, everyone there is very friendly, and helpful. I was actually having financial problems and they offered to help me lower my payments. Which i accepted, and i have been able to get back on track. The only thing i dont like is the $8.99 fee to process the payment by phone, but thats why i set up my account in AUTO PAY!(ask for it) very great. Its been a great joy having them as my finance comp, To my opion, these reviews are not helpful at all. The reps are very friendly people and very professional. Never had a mis-communication problem with anyone there. They understand what you need and they do their best to help you. I think everyon... Read more

Tue Aug 04 2009how about you buy a car from car outlet and let total finace do the financing for you and you pay for your car every month you even worry about been late becase you dont want to affect your credit but when you go to apply for another loan somewhere else they ask you why you stop paying for your car .hmmmm you wonder whats going on....than you find out that total finance has not been reporting your credit to none of the credit bureus and you are almost done paying for the dam car but you have nothing to show for it when you call them up and ask whats going on they tell you sorry we will look into it but guess what they never get back to you....but then if your late with your payment they threaten to put a lean on your check or repo the car even if its for 5 days....whats this world coming to....i think car outlet along with total finance should not be allowed to do business in our state or in the world they are sneaky and because most of their customers are spanish with little or no cr... Mon Aug 04 2008I purchased a car with caroutlet which is a company that is owned by Total Finance, I realy wish i could go back in time and never bought a car there. The staff is unprofessional and rude. Half of the time they dont even understand you because they dont speak good english. Now i have nothing against spanish speaking people Im married to one but to conduct a business with people that can not understand their clientel because of the lack of english speaking personel, give me a break. To top it off tghey are rude, I would never recomend aybody to use their services, not even my worst enemy. If you have a complain or would like to speak to a customer service rep. forget it the dont have one. So total Finance get help that speaks both languages fluently not half assed like your employees and get some customer service training going.A very disappointed customer.
