Sun May 09 2010My company throws a party every year for Thunder and I recently became the PR coordinator for it, previously my boss had hired this company for tables, chairs, a tent and inflatables and so I did as well. The owner initially came to the property without me to assess what we needed, she assumed wrongly we were doing the same set up as last year. I had to ask her to come out again and she seemed put out by this request. They also placed a trailer next to the inflatable and my boss said we needed to move it, it was dangerous. Mary Jo was upset they had to come out again and move it. The day of the event, our tables and tableclothes were not matching up. Also, there were no linen weights as we had discussed and it was windy so the tableclothes were flying off. I spoke to Mary Jo and she said she could not find any linen weights, but she had not mentioned that until a few hours before the event. When I made a comment about that, she became very defensive. Wed Feb 17 2010In response to the July/2009 remark: Nathan, the youth minister at Shively Baptist Church contracted our services about two weeks before his scheduled church event. I sent him a fax to confirm the order & the dates and times. After a a very negative call to our company from him, he later stated he had forgotten about the fax and the times of the rental pick ups. He did apologize for his unbecoming behavior.

Thu Jul 16 2009I had ordered one item for a Monday and a package of items for that Friday. Come that Monday, I am busy trying to get things together for the big event. I talk with Tons of Fun about picking up the items that afternoon when I had a block of availability. They told me that they would probably not be there. Since, they were unable to assist me, the costumer, according to my schedule, I sent an email canceling the entire order. On Friday, they are still trying to deliver my package, though I had canceled by email and gone with Blue Grass Bouncers (MUCH BETTER!). They claimed that I had never sent an email (I forwarded the email from my sent box) and then told me that I HAD MADE A 10am appointment for that Monday and that the whole issue was my fault. I don't recall any appointment and I didn't even receive any confirmation of an appointment. Tons of Fun then left a deplorable message on my cell phone. BEWARE!
