Probably best known for being Yes guitarist Steve Howe's first truly noteworthy act. Singer Keith West also had a solo career including a pair of British hits, and drummer Twink (John Alder) went on to The Pretty Things and other even more obscure underground acts. Tomorrow were, with Pink Floyd and The Soft Machine, considered to be one of the three most important groups to emerge from the British psychedelic scene centered around the UFO Club venue. They put out one lp of psychedelic rock in early '68 before folding that included the classic "My White Bicycle" ( later covered by Nazareth), the strident "Revolution," a competent version of "Strawberry ields Forever" and several other tracks dealt with more typical British psych concerns: old colonels, little old ladies, the lives of people in small towns, and the like.
