Tom Hess Music Career Mentoring

Tom Hess is great... I was surprised at how much having him as my mentor has really made the difference in my music career. Before I started working with him, I was a bedroom musician at best... now after 6 months in the program, I have a big network of pro musicians, I've written an album (and collaborated with others) and have begun actually making income from my passion. Wish I would've started sooner!

Just killer stuff here from Tom Hess. I've been trying get my music career going for years with no clear direction and Tom has been the one to give it to me. Each time I listen to one of his mentoring sessions I learn new things I never knew and get motivated to kick ass in my music career. It's very comforting to have a network of musicians to work with as well (provided by simply being in the program). Everyone on his forum is extremely helpful and knowledgable.

After joining Tom Hess's mentoring program I've learned countless lessons that have shown to be beneficial time and time again. It's thanks to him that I've finally taken the action needed to start a band, record music and tour. Every session is recorded with tons of insight into the music industry and how it works, plus Tom's personal experiences and help with more specific scenarios you might encounter as you progress in your career. You also talk with him one on one where he gives you personal advice to overcome your own challenges so it's really personal. There are also group projects and you are part of a great community of pro (and almost pro) musicians who have a lot of info to share.

When I started music career mentoring with Tom Hess, I didn't have any music business experience. However, since being in the program, I have learned a lot about how to find the right people, understand the inner workings of the industry and think how successful musicians think.. This has helped me to start a great band as a result. We're currently touring locally and in the process of releasing our first album! All this is thanks to Tom Hess. The musician forum in the program is amazing too, as it is full of a variety of pros who have already built solid careers and people who are less experienced... everyone is very positive and helpful.

The Music Careers Mentoring Program is truly life changing! Tom Hess helped me go from an aspiring professional musician, working a minimum wage job to a true pro, putting out music, making a good living and working together with other great musicians. In his program, you work together with a network of serious musicians and get direct advice from Tom on how to advance in your music career from where you are now to where you want to be. Being the music careers mentoring program has been an amazing experience. Thanks to Tom and his incredible insight of the music industry, my music career is farther along than ever and I can finally say I earn a living purely through music (say goodbye crappy 9-5!). I've been in the program now for about 3 months and I keep learning new things. Before I began mentoring with Tom Hess, I had a lot of misconceptions about how the music business works (such as all musicians must be starving artists, go to get a degree in college, etc). Now I realize that these things were all keeping me from being able to make music for a living. Through Tom's sessions and one on one guidance, he's helped me understand that the music industry is actually a lot more stable than most full time jobs. Additionally, he's helped me begin writing my first album and participate in projects with the other musicians in the program. Looking forward to the future and seeing what we will learn about next!

Review of Tom Hess Music Career Mentoring Program: I always wondered if it was possible to make good money as a musician, and Tom has really opened my eyes about the music business. There are so many ways to earn a good living through music, and there's really no need to work a day job either. In Tom's program, he explained all kinds of aspects about the music business (beside just the money aspects) such as how to get more fans, release albums, and build important connections. If it wasn't for this program, I would've probably listened to my family who has always told me to just pursue music on the side ... well now music is my LIFE! Join this program.. you won't regret it!

I am very happy that I chose to join Tom Hess's music business training. Everything he has told me about my own career has helped to push it forward. It's not the same thing you would read in music industry books or the such...Tom really knows what is going on in today's industry. I've learned so much about making money with music and all the inner workings of being a pro musician. On top of that, I've made tons of great connections with the musicians in his forum which have opened the doors for me to participate in many projects.

Tom Hess has changed my musical life for good! Before I began receiving mentoring from him, I made zero income from my music career. Now I teach music, work on writing music and play with my band gigging in my local area. I'm making money from several musical sources and I couldn't have done it without Tom's guidance and incredible insight into the music industry!

Not only does he really understand the ins and outs of the music industry, but he tells you specifically how to apply his understanding into your specific situation. I just want to state that Tom Hess's music career mentoring program is starting to become a truly awesome experience. I wasn't sure about it at first since I was only an average guitarist. However, I soon found out that your musical skills are only a small portion of what it takes to be a successful pro musician. Everytime I talk with Tom, I discover tons of new things about the music industry (like how to make money and network with others in the industry) and make more and more progress as a musician. Currently I am in a huge project with various other musicians... something that I never would've been part of had it not been for Tom's program.

When i first began the tom hess music career mentoring program, i was clueless about the music industry (yet determined to make it!). Tom completely opened my eyes to the ins and outs of being a professional musician and destroyed the pee-conceieved myths I had been told by peers and family. At the time, i was ready to attend university to get a degree in music performance, but fortunately i starting mentoring with tom instead. In the end, this decision surely saved me tens of thousands of dollars. At first, i gave tom my music career goals and described to him my situation. Here is my review for the Tom Hess Music Careers Mentoring Program... I joined Tom Hess's mentoring program in 2011 with a group of other aspiring musicians. At first, I only expected to learn the same stuff you would learn by reading a book about the music business...however, this was much different than expected! Throughout the program Tom took a more hands on kind of approach to help us gain real world experience while learning about how to become the 'right musician' in order to achieve success in the music industry. I have grown in so many ways after joining this program...Honestly, I can't thank Tom enough for his insight and personal help.
