Nice people there at TJO and they will save you money. They are patient and ask questions. My first year there I got over $1,000 more than the prior year going to H&R Block. The fees are similar to H&R Block (actually a little cheaper) but they offer much better service, nicer offices, better staff, and most importantly, they know how to claim the right deductions to get you the most money back.

I have been working with TJO & Associates for a few years now. Their prices are a bit high, but well worth it. The guys are very up-to-date with the most recent tax deductions and qualifications. They have always helped me get just a little more back! I recently referred one of my friends to TJO & Associates. Unfortunately, she was not able to book an appointment. She had the option of mailing in or dropping off her stuff to be worked on & done within a couple of days or to file for extension. When I called the firm to ask about this, they were very clear that they did not want to have to turn away any clients - but, they leave the last few days available for exsiting & old clients (like me - who wait until the last minute to call in!) I read all the reviews on this site and could not wait to have my taxes prepared by TJO and Associates. I attempted to schedule an appointment and my call was unanswered. Instead I was asked to leave a message for someone to call me back. The woman that called me back was apathetic and basically told me to go elsewhere as they were booked for the season. She made no attempt to reconcile the situation and did not offer any indication of wanting my business. I may not be the most sophisticated client they deal with, but the quote I received from their website for over $500 was significantly more than I paid the CPA who agreed to take my business. Perhaps they did me a favor by turning me away at the door.

There is a reason why TJO is rated so high. My wife and I had recently purchased rental property and also had a Schedule C. We graduated from tax preparation software and decided to try Jackson Hewitt last year, big mistake. It was immediately clear I had more knowledge about taxes then the person sitting behind the desk. They had to consult with other preparers or another office just to complete our return. The price wasn't cheap either. TJO undoubtedly had more experience with Schedule C and Schedule E clients. They handled my return in just one hour and also found Sch C expenses I didn't even realize I could write off. All for a better price. I will be back every year that is for certain.

I was referred to TJO by a friend for their professional service and reasonable prices. I just bought a home and sold some options through work so TurboTax wasn't going to cut it this year. They found deductions I had not claimed before and had my return completed quickly and painlessly. Will be back next year!

I've had my taxes prepared by TJO the past three years, couldn't be more pleased. Their pricing is fair and upfront and I almost fell out of my chair when I saw my refund. They know how to ask the right questions and aren't trying to push you out of the office like they have a big poker game to get to. They've made a loyal customer out of me!

I recently purchased a home and a rental property so my tax requirements changed considerably. I was no longer able to use tax preparation software and I do not want to use H&R Block or Jackson Hewitt after hearing some very bad stories about the quality of their service. I was pleased to find TJO & Associates through a referal from a coworker. From A to Z the experience was great. Very professional service, straight-forward and fair pricing and they know alot about rentals since they deal with a great many of them. Very satisfied.

I had tried tax preparation software when I was younger, it was acceptable because my return requirements were straight-forward but even at that it took over 8 hours to prepare my own taxes. I recently purchased a home and decided to try our local H&R Block office, what a mistake! Horrible customer service and I knew much more about taxes then the person preparing my return! Their staff was very knowledgable and attentive, they prepared my return in under 30 minutes and I received a 30% higher refund because they asked the right questions and I had deductions I had overlooked in the past. The price was also cheaper then what I was quoted at H&R Block, it was the best move I have made in a while.
