Summary: Order "in-process" for 2 weeks, item discontinued, account charged! TigerDirect kept my order at "In Process - Your order is in process" for 2 weeks and when I called they said it was due to the item not being in stock! Um, can't they update the order status to something less misleading then? They also told me that they had no plan of restocking this item! So why were they keeping my order "In Process" for 2 weeks then? Finally, EBILLME withdrew the full amount 2 days after I placed the order, even though there was no stock! This is a joke of course, the tigerdirect representative said that's EBILLME's fault, which may be true - not sure. But even ignoring the fact that they had charged me for more than 10 days without shipping the item, the fact that they didn't contact me when they knew the item wouldn't be restocked is totally unprofessional.

The worst store ever!!!! This is the last time I purchased something from them. Lack of customer service and courtesy! Rude and unprofessional! My previous order was completely screwed up. My last order was pending because of some technical issue they had. And even though they have all of the contacts they never bother to call and sort things out. I paid with paypal thew same day I placed the order via the link TigerDirect sent me and for three days (until I called them!!!) they still claimed the order was not paid for!!!! Then they promised to deliver the order faster but it was not delivered at all on the day it was promised! Guess why??? Because they have not provided shipping address to PayPal even though they have had it from the beginning!!!! And when that got sorted out, they claim the order will be delivered within the _oridignal_ time frame !!!! Totally the worst experience ever

Jamie was patient and listened to my tech support issues. Spent the time to read Intel's website and determine how to solve my multiple issues. She was friendly, helpful and simply a pleasant person to talk to while frustrated. Also I would like to suggest one shopping rewards site: couponsavemore.com, for Tiger Direct you can get 1.3% rewards

DO NOT buy from TIGERDIRECT! They have a bunch of idiots working on the phones that sound like their on drugs, they don't care for their jobs and you can easily tell that threw their service. I had to call almost 5 times to simply verify my order. I was not given a receipt directly after the purchase and they were totally unsupported and just made you feel like a pest for calling. HORRIBLE customer support and from what I hear HORRIBLE all around! I hear so many people who don't even get what they order! Please, be smart. Take your business elsewhere. I'll NEVER buy from Tiger Direct again!!

I bought this camera on black friday for $719 thinking that tiger direct would be a good website and they will honor their price protection guarantee as well look for a bargain in this tough times. In 3 days the price dropped to $699 and I called then and email them multiple times but no response at all. I get a response today after 10 days that it was a special price and Unfortunately, price protection policy only applies to regularly advertised products and DOESN'T apply to limited time sales. That limited time sale lasted 10 days. I would have returned the product right away but they don't even take returns even when I told them that I think the product is refurbished as it a scratch. The guy on the phone said I should talk to Canon about it. I have learned my lesson not to by from cheap websites like Tigerdirect.com I hope this review will serve as suggestion to avoid this website. I am going to post this review on multiple review site to try to help other buyers from being sc... Read more

I bought a brand new motherboard from them and when it arrived the seal on the box was broken. Installed motherboard and it has bad squeeling issues when under load. Contacted TigerDirect about it. Sorry we can't return it because it is past the return date. It was past the return date the moment it got to my door step. They also missed an item in my order that they billed me for. Microsoft XP disc and license. They did however send me another one when I told them I never got it. Will never buy from them again. I also got a Graphics card which also came with a broken seal on the box. So far the GPU seems to be fine but the mother board is so annoying!!.

I had read bad review of Tiger Direct but had never had troble with anything that I ordered. Shipping was prompt and prices were good. But then I ordered from Tiger Direct Ebay. BAD !!! Mistake!!. The video card was defective and Tiger will not give me a RA# to return it. They sent me a message saying they could not exchange it but they would give me a refund. Two weeks and no further response to messages and no RA#. I filed a complaint with Pay Pal and they have not responed to that either.

I had a terrible time trying to order a computer and having it shipped to a work location other than my home. I checked up on the order status only to find out it had never been shipped because the address would not come up on their system, even though it seems to come up on everyone else's and I have had numerous deliveries to the same address. CS kept my on hold forever then said they would send it to the address if I paid by check instead of using their PayPal service (which is the only option they seem to offer you as you go through the check-out process). I said fine, and they said they would transfer me to that department. I had to explain it all over again and then another 25 minutes of holding only to have them tell me they would have to get back to me. I canceled the order.

What? TigerDirect is still in business? They must have gotten a gov't "Bail-0ut!" I ordered hardware, and had problems with it right away. I called and they shuttled me from one "Tech Support" (who knew NOTHING) guy to another. When I requested to speak to a supervisor, they simply refused. This went on for several phone calls. Finally, I did what each of YOU MUST DO IN SIMILAR CIRCUMSTANCES: I FILED A WRITTEN COMPLAINT WITH THE STATE ATTORNEY (file in the state where the company headquarters is located, or in the state where the transaction took place). What a coincidence: TigerDirect decided to solve the problem! So TigerDirect ended up solving the problem anyway, but they lost my goodwill forever. Because of this experience, I decided to post this, which will cost them money. TigerDirect does not deserve a place in a competitive market, and I predict that soon you'll see their new sign: "GOING OUT OF BUSINESS"

Tigerdirect sucks. I purchased a Brand new Garmin Nuvi 360 from their store in Vaughan. When I opened the package everything seemed to be new but when I turned on the unit the language was set to Italian. I had a feeling that the unit was used. On further investigation I noticed that the unit had saved waypoints and the previous customer had actually entered his home and office address and phone number. The Nuvi 360 was also peered with two existing cell phones via bluetooth. The tracking information showed that the unit had been used for 1800 km and the top speed on it was 171 km. Tigerdirect was stupid enough not to reset the unit to factory defaults before repacking the product. They charge customers 15% retocking fees for some items which are returned with no defects. Once the unit is opened they should sell the product as used or send it back to the manufacturer so that it can be sold as refurbished. I will never buy a new product from tigerdirect again. I called Garmi... Read more

Dont use this company! A sale person lied to me about the arrival time of a product I ordered just to make sale. Now my daughter won't received her Christmas gift. TigerDirect is more interested in selling you warranties and junk products when you call than in selling the product youre trying to order.

i made an order the 12 February the packet had a struggle with label illegible/missing and it was returned to the shipper ( not my fault ) since the packet never came to me, in my opinion there are only 2 possible causes. 1 someone on TigerDirect wrote bad label info on it 2 someone on UPS damage/lost it Enviar Enviar the shipping price its quite expensive 353,95 USD, why should i pay for the shipping again??? its that fair? my common sense says that UPS shoud refund tigerdirect the shipping money since it didn't got delivery it dint even got to the airport. at this point I'm very very frustrated, called customer service and they are clueless they just say i need to pay shipping again, so i asked for my money back, i really cant wait anymore since 12 February to today 25 March and my stuff didn't even got shipped thats unacceptable. i didn't even got any email about Progress in my problem it has been arround 1 week since i asked for a refund, when i call they say its in p... WARNING: Tigerdirect double billed my debit card for a video card I purchased from them. The result, 128$ + $35 fee. total $163 overdrafted. Their CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER, after admitting fault for the total of $280 in overages caused by this error, informed me that their "POLICY" was to pay only the initial $35. I ate the other $245 in fees which again they admitted complete fault for but tough luck to me. RUN AWAY from Tigerdirect.

I purchased a refurb laptop and received it quickly.  It was defective.  I returned it and they said they did not receive it.  When I gave them proof of return adn receipt, they argued with me about the credit amount.  Then I asked for a replacement product to be sent and they said they could not send one as I had improperly filed the return.  I should have taken a credit and left it there.  But I convinced them to send me a nother and it was loaded with a counterfeit Microsoft Vista license ( I sence read about several people that have had this problem).  Now I cannot get anyone to take back the defect since Tiger Direct says that after 5 days it is the manufacturer issue and Gateway says it is a microsoft problem or keep trying to reinstall.  What a nightmare.  I'll never buy from Tiger Direct again, and I am thinking about grouping all of us together with a class action lawsuit.  What ever happened to honesty and customer service?

I dealt with tigerdirect.com as a third party through amazon.com.  I ordered a TV on January 2nd listed as being in stock and ready for shipping.  My credit card was charged immediately.  Amazon estimated the shipping date as 1/4/08 through 1/09/08.  I heard nothing until I contacted tigerdirect via phone on 1/13/08 after my E-mails to customer support had been ignored.  I was informed that my order was backordered and would most likely not return to stock.  Talked to another customer rep who said to leave the order open and they would get more within 5-7 days.  The next day I received an E-mail that my order was canceled.  I'm still waiting for my refund....  You can charge the card within 5 minutes without even having the product available for delivery, but it takes more than 4 days to refund my money.  BS!  I would advise anyone thinking of dealing with tigerdirect to take your business elsewhere.

There are a number of customer reviews on TigerDirect.com throughout the internet. While many customers have had their orders processed through this company without a hitch (good for them), the problems that abound with this company are ones where the customer HAS had a shipment problem and/or (heaven forbid) TigerDirect owes funds back to the customer (purchase refund, rebate, etc.) This company will take the customer's money at rocket speed, but is extremely slow to act when funds are due back to the customer. My experience with TigerDirect has been deplorable. I ordered a refurbished PREMIUM X-Box for son's intended birthday gift. What Tiger Direct shipped was an X-Box Core Console (without hard drive). Upon contacting them, they admitted their error and issued an RMA for merchandise return. Because time parameters were not feasible to wait for a replacement, we had to make last-minute arrangements to obtain the product elsewhere through a local store. Full credit to custo... Read more

I remember the rebate scheme they played with many people. Getting the factory rebate required sending in the UPC label. Problem was that TigerDirect removed all the UPC labels from the box and product. Guess they sent for the rebates and left their customers holding the bag. They also ship OEM or Refurb products as new retail versions. No Thanks! Taz

I have read many reviews online about TigerDirect.com not being a good company, or not giving rebates etc etc etc. And this is what has compelled me to write my own review. I have been buying from TigerDirect.com for the past few years and have *NEVER* had any problems. This year alone l have purchased (on separate orders) a lap top, 2 desk tops, a 19'' LCD screen, and a wifi linksys router. All of the items were received well before their "due date". Two of these items had rebates through "onrebate" and though it did take 8 to 10 weeks to receive them (as the onrebate site states) l did get them, both without any trouble or hassle. I have spend several thousands of dollars with these guys, and honestly trust them more than any other online hardware or software vendor. I have not however ever purchased any "refurbished" equipment and noticed a lot of the bad reviews where by people who had purchased factory refurbished equipment, so l can't review that aspect of TigerDirect.com as l... If you're gonna buy name brand, go directly to the manufacturer and cut the middle man out, especially if they're con artists. Better yet, learn how to build it yourself and save money and frustration. I won't buy retail now that I can build it myself for half the price, and I know exactly what's in the box and have all the tools to support it myself. :)

TigerDirect is a total scam outfit. 2 weeks ago they emailed me a come-on for an Epson PictureMate photo printer which they advertised as $99 after rebates. This was a total fraud. Once I placed the order for which I was billed $199 +S&H;, and went thru their incredibly complex rebate downloading maze, I discovered that $50 of the so-called rebate was in the form of a Visa debit 'gift card' which had to be used within 30 days and the other $50 was contingent upon my purchase of an Epson PC or camera. Needless to say, I cancelled that order immediately. Not having learned from that mistake, I then ordered an Emachines refurb desktop computer just last week for the advertised price of $299. I was billed $399 + 22 SH and then had to jump thru all the hoops again to get the $100 rebate. When I got the machine, it was defective. It would not even boot up! I then started reading the return instructions on the Tigerdirect shipping invoice. Boy was I surprised. First off, they won't even take... Read more

I recently placed an order with TigerDirect for a Dane-Elec 256MB Compact Flash card because the price seemed very attractive after the $16 rebate that was posted on their site but never received the rebate. The card was for a friend of mine and I called the store to confirm that they had it in stock and that it would be shipped within 3 days. The customer service representative confirmed all this and also stated that there was a rebate of $16 on this item. I placed the order online but could not print the rebate form because I did not have a printer at home. After receiving the card I searched for the rebate form on TigerDirects site from my office and was surprised when no form matching my date of purchase could be found. Called their customer service and they assured me that the form would be sent by mail. Indeed I received a form but when I sent it to the rebate center they denied the rebate because the purchase was outside the period specified on the form. I called TigerDirect aga... Read more
