Thu Sep 10 2009I love it ~ love it ~ love it!!! If I had the choice between the most sophisticated automatic system ( and I've had several), I honestly think I would choose to keep the "Breeze" system. We currently have 2 cats and 2 boxer dogs, one of whom would occassionally grab a "snack" from every other litter system we've had (all of them - we used to call him 'cat breath', 'poop breath' and Much Worse!! While "eliminating" this problem is definitely a plus, it's very minor compared to how wonderful life with 2 indoor cats has become since putting this wonderful system in place a year ago. It really does work! It is also economical in that the pellets last long, long time. They truly DO NOT absorb urine and odors!! I find changing the pad once a week to work just fine. I remove the tray and turn it around 180 degrees as my two seem to be corner pee'rs. My super picky mom who has a nose like a bloodhound, has commented several times about the "cat smell" that she no longer smells. ... Read more

Wed Dec 03 2008It is a little sad I'm giving this product a bad review, especially considering that they sent it to me for free due to a marketing strategy from their web site. My wife and I have been using the litter system for our single small cat for about 5 months. Odor control has been a problem, but I was not to unhappy with it until our latest problem. I was changing the pad out (usually do it weekly), and when I opened the drawer at the bottom, it appeared dry! I did not really understand the situation, so I pulled the drawer out more to examine further. At that point, it was tilted a little bit, and a LOT of pee went all over our carpet. Apparently the pad was crumpled in half when the pad was inserted, and then straightened out over the pee when the drawer was pulled out a week later. Frankly I was thinking of replacing it because I was tired of scooping poop on a daily basis, but after the PEE episode, I think the time for replacement has come earlier than expected. :-) - ... Sat Nov 29 2008This product is AMAZING! We love it, our cat likes it - I guess,he's pretty strong, because he's still scratching those heavy pellets like there's no tomorrow! :) NO MORE LITTER on the floor!!! Poop smell...well, I guess it depends on what're you feeding your kitty >:)"Smelly cat, smelly cat, what are the they feeding you... " (c) Changing the pee pad once every 8 days, flip the pan over every couple of days for even distribution of pee. Breaking it in - two litter box concept, the old one and Breeze box side by side for 3 days as recommended DID NOT WORK for us.Kitty ignored the BREEZE box and went straight for the old one. Well, then we just removed the old one completely and only then he started "breezing". Well, our cat is smart - I can see some cats not seeing their old litter box and just going someplace else on the floor/bed/shoes...:))) Our baby is 5 years old and he never had an accident, except for throwing up quite often ( bulimic supermodel cat? ) Anyway - LOVE I... Sat Nov 22 2008I was leery that my cats would make the transition since the pellets are noisier and likely would feel different to the cats. They made the transition within a week and IT IS WONDERFUL not to have cat litter tracked through (and I use the large litter maid rug), none stuck on their feet AND no odor! The pad gets saturated and still no odor! The only issue I had is one of my cats had a diarrhea episode and regular clumping cat litter would have been easier to clean. Still it wasn't that big of a deal to clean although I wasted quite a few of the pellets. Anyway, I have used every type of litter, had a litter maid, and even bought the huge blue cat litter box from Amazon, but ALL pale in comparison to the odor free ease of this system. Sure the pads are a bit pricey, but the benefit is GREAT. Unless something superior comes out, this IS the BEST litter system out there. I think my 4 cats would agree with this too.

Fri Nov 21 2008I bought this litter box solely for the high sides. I have 3 cats - my one boy cat won't go into a covered litter box, my other boy cat tends to pee high - over the side of low boxes. My girl cat is no problem. The cat who won't go into the covered litter box is fine with this one - his head comes over the side of the box. The high sides keep my other boy cat's pee in the box making clean up much easier for me. I use this box with the regular crystal litter. I line it with a wee wee pad, put the crystal litter in and it is no problem. Very happy with the purchase.
