Pre game fireworks 18000+ backed seats. The T&M is a Great Building (except after the rodeo). The T&M is the Madison square garden of the West!

I have been to a lot of college arenas and Jerry Tarkanian Court at the Thomas & Mack Center has to be one of the top college owned facilities in the country and is by far and away the best arena in the Mountain West Conference. It is very modern and well kept. It has two full bars as well as 30 VIP luxry suites. The arena has a spacious 42,000 square foot concourse. Even though there are a lot of concession stands, the food selection is not that great. They do have a Subway but it has limited selections. I am sad to see that they closed down the gift shop to open a lounge for VIP's. Now they sell merchandise out of stands. The Si Redd room is also really nice but again, it is only open the VIP's. What a great facility. Modern and well kept. The new visual equipment installed at the start of the 2008-09 season adds to the great experience and you can't beat the Rebel Girls. A great place for basketball games.

Probably one of the top 3 arenas in college basketball, considering the size, state-of-the-art complex that has been renovated, and renovated.  Because it hosts many large events (such as boxing and the National Finals Rodeo), besides being the home of UNLV hoops, the arena is top notch,AND is only getting better. This year they're adding a wrap-around video board (like NBA arenas), and a brand new scoreboard. How can anyone rate it a 3 star...come on!

Take a look at it at night, this ovular arena is breathtaking. Believe me, the sign on the main entrance gives it its charm.
