Ordered my chaise from SofaCo after searching for a long time. Amazing assortment of choice in fabrics, styles, etc. Also have options for different budgets. Long lead time though, must be patient.

After searching and visiting many sofa companies looking for a comfortable yet affordable sofa to combine with my husband's lazy chair, we stopped in at the sofa company near downtown. We live in the area and were passing by. Alex welcomed us and offered her help with any questions. After bombarding her with questions and obtaining her professional advice, we customized our sofa to match our home decor and of course, the lazy boy. Thanks Sofa Company for helping us choose the perfect sofa.

I am very happy with my purchase of my two sofas mainly because, I radicaly made chances to their own sofa style, and costumize my sofas to my own taste, you don't have to seatle to wat they have. I highly reccomend this sofa co. and the great help of their Design Consultant Alex Morales, she is very pacient in listening to your ideas, and to point out the pros and cons of the chages, she is very helpful in selecting the right fabric and colors or designs, even texture.

I was looking for the perfect sectional piece for a long time and finally found one. The problem was it was from a high end contemporary Italian furniture store and the price was outrageously expensive!!! So I started looking again and found the Sofa Company. At first I was pretty skeptical but I changed my mind once I visited the new Pico showroom. Evana was very helpful & patient in every step. Since there were so many frame choices with different options, I finally found something very close to the Italian design that I liked. Even better part was that I only spent less than one quarter of the Italian design that I liked originally. I will definitely recommend the Sofa Company to my friends and family.

I just moved out here from the east coast and had been searching all over LA for a couch. Craig's list was too sketchy, the Futon shop too overpriced, and every other furniture store either had attractive - but uncomfortable -couches, or vice versa. Then one day I discovered the sofa company's website- their downtown store is practically across the street from me, so I gave them a visit. And - not to sound totally lame - but, once I walked in, it felt like destiny brought me there. Ok that does sound pretty lame. Point is, Alex was super helpful with all the questions I had for her. PLUS the in-home consultation was awesome, with her coming over, checking out the room I wanted to put the sofa in, and discovering a place for it I would have never thought of! (That is, shortening the Gia's length to fit in this particular spot) Bottom line - the sofa co.'s got tons of choices, and the couches are unbelievably comfortable. Oh, and Alex is the best!

Don't even bother with the name brand stores like Crate & Barrel, West Elm, etc. This store had everything I was looking for and more! The large variety of styles and handful of options got me the perfect sofa for my new place. The salesperson (Alex) was very helpful in assisting me with selecting a fabric and answering all the questions that I had. I would definitely suggest The Sofa Company to my friends that are considering sofa purchases. A+ from me.

Well we needed a new sofa bed and didn't know where to go. We had checked the usual furniture stores to find the same old semi-good quality and ugly designs at the same old expensive prices ... Bummer. Then we did an internet search (thank you Google) and came across The Sofa Company website. Wow! New, trendy and sleek designs, customs fabrics and colors, quality mattresses (bed part of the sofa) and STILL, fairly affordable?!! ... We had to see to believe so we went to their dowtown location and were not disappointed. Alex greeted us and spent quite a bit of time with us showing and explaining all of our options till we ran out of questions. Oh by the way, she' s one of the best design consultant we've ever dealt with so get her if you can. Anyway, when all was seen, said and done, we left the store happy in the knowledge that we were getting a fabulous sofa-bed, custom made to our taste and requirements for a really decent price. I would strongly recommend The Sofa Company to anyb... Read more

Alex was my design consultant at the downtown L.A. store. She was an A+ salesperson. She knew when to give me time to look and when to step in and give me pertinent info. on choices available. She was professional, had knowledge of the product and was able to use her background in design to offer interesting alternatives. I drove from the Valley on the recommendation of friends. It was worth the drive. Best sofa collection I have seen! Peter keep up the great work.....

The moment had finally come.....after almost 10 years, that $15 thrift store couch had gone from a fab find to an irritating eyesore. I had seen a number of "Sofa Company" ads over the past 3 years and decided to check out their website (very user friendly). This led me to their spacious showroom on Pico near Alvarado where there were plenty of sofas and fabrics to choose from. Alex was the sales assistant who helped me to select and define my new couch. She was both patient and design saavy, and seemed almost as excited as I was about my purchase. Thanks to Alex and "the Sofa Company", I will soon be "looking at" and "lounging on" my brand new sofa.

Alex was so helpful! She appreciated and respected my space limitations and walked the showroom with me to find the only two sofas that would fit. She was very low key and sincerely wanted me to have exactly what I wanted. She helped me make informed decisions about my purchase and was very excited that I opted for a "fun" color -- eggplant! I'll send photos, Alex. Thank you again for your assistance; you made me feel like you cared about me and my decision. And thank you for your patience. G

I had a great experience buying my couch which I love...I worked with Peter and Alex who were helpful, thoughtful, and patient as we went through several rounds of discussions to make sure I bought the right couch and to ensure that I could fit it in my brand new place. Peter was really great about explaining measurements and walking me through the process of ensuring my couch was the right size for my place. The Sofa Company helped me create the couch I've been wanting but could never quite find in the store.

We recently visited The Sofa Company on Pico and had a pleasant, easy experience buying a sofa with all the features we wanted. Our sales rep, Evana, was extremely helpful with showing us examples of all the different features and choosing just the right combination. She was knowledgeable and professional and friendly. She even gave our family cold bottles of water as we were mulling over the fabric choices. The showroom was huge and beautifuly decorated. They also had a nice play area to occupy the kids as my husband and I shopped. I found The Sofa Company on an online search for furniture stores. There is a feature on their site where you can build your own sofa...I recommend checking that out before you go into the store to just become familiar with all of the choices available. The reason I am giving a four instead of a five is because the sofa we ordered was advertised with a 2-3 week completion time and it took a little longer than that, more like 3 weeks, 5 days.

My wife and I purchased a home in late March. In the process, we sold or donated most of what was in essence my bachelor furniture so that we could purchase some "grown up" furniture. Alas, we didn't realize: (a) how particular we both are and about different stylistic points; (b) how unyieldingly inflexible and/or expensive most furniture stores can be. Making things more complicated/difficult is the fact that my wife is becoming increasingly pregnant with every passing moment with our second child and really needs a place to sit! Camping chairs just don't cut it! Anyhow, on a whim, I googled 'furniture store' once again and stumbled upon The Sofa Company website. We hopped in our car from the OC and visited the downtown LA showroom. There, we met Alex, who immediately convinced my wife and I that we had come to the right place (my 2yo daughter also felt comfortable in spite of the insane heat that particular day). We meandered through the store looking and sitting (often for longer... Read more

The sofa company offers more than 60 styles of sofas to choose from --and you can easily personalize your choice by changing the cushion styles, the legs, adding piping details or covered buttons. The downtown store has only been open for 3 months and they are adding to their fabric "library" all the time. I took home tons of fabrics before settling on the right one. Alex at the downtown store was patient and helpful. She has a good eye for design and helped direct me to different choices. She was never frustrated with my difficulty in selecting a fabric--and it would have been easy to become frustrated because I was having a hard time deciding just what I wanted. Sp, now I have placed my order and in the next 2-3 weeks I should have my new couch just the way I want it for a really reasonable price. The Sofa Company also has great deals on sale furniture and in stock furniture. Go take a look.

We love the sofa company!!! Unlike any other furniture store, the sofa company can create your customized sofa. This place has a huge collection of different styles of sofa and a millions of fabric you can choose from. Evana at the store kindly showed us around the whole shop and spent time on explaining the every detail of type of shape, fabric, color and even softness of the cushion. We are very pleased with their service and recommend this place for anyone who is buying a new sofa.

I was looking for a new couch to replace an old one I've had for years. I happened to drive by the Sofa Company in Downtown, which is close to where I live, and I'm very pleased I walked in. The sales representative named Evana was very helpful. She took her time to show me the different styles and the different fabrics. She was very patient and I finally found the right couch for my apartment. I had a good experience shopping here and maybe this might be a good place to shop for you, too.

After searching for almost two weeks for a couch...I was relieved to find The Sofa Company on Pico Blvd. This new store is huge, and filled with a wide selection of great looking sofas of all styles, shapes and sizes...and all for a VERY reasonable price. Definitely less expensive than any other place in town AND it can all be customized to exactly how you want it. I worked with a wonderful woman named Cherie for almost TWO HOURS as I hemmed and hawed and debated and debated, (buying a couch can seem like a big decision). Cherie was extremely patient and helpful. Never losing her patience with me. There are so many colors and styles of fabrics to choose from, and she helped me to find the exact color and style that I had been looking for. If you are looking for a sofa, don't bother with the national chain stores...you'll just get an overpriced couch that everyone has. Go to the Sofa Company and get a sofa that is as unique as you are...and cheaper than you are too.

My last customized sofa was a disaster, so at a friend's suggestion, I took the lessons I had learned & tried out the Sofa Company. I'm glad that I did! They have a fantastic selection of: styles, fabrics, colors, feet & other options. The price is great. I got a 2 piece sectional for less than what I spend on my last (one piece) sofa. I visited the Pasadena location before finally placing my order at the LA location and both times the staff was very friendly, knowledgeable & helpful. Their experience helps you decide what options to spend money on and what options you can live without. I am very happy with and excited about my purchase!
