I loved that I discoved The Mission Motif in Kirkwood. This store has some great solid oak furniture in the Arts and Crafts Style that is very hard to find today. I also collect handthrown pottery and no where else in Georgia will you find better mission style pottery being made today. They do such a good job weeding out the junk. They also have a good website and if you sign up for their newsletter you will know about all sales and special events. I wish Atlanta had more stores like this!

I highly recommend the furniture, lighting and rugs that are at The Mission Motif. The furniture is all solid wood with no veneer or particle board and comes in different wood and finishes. The lighting is mostly custom and it true to the period of the Arts and Crafts Movement. The rugs are all 100% wool and handknotted. Great designs such as the Ginkgo and celtic knot.

I was in awe when I first discoved The Mision Motif located in Historic Kirkwood. The furniture, lighting, rugs and accessories are all dedicated to the Arts and Crafts style also know as Mission Style, which was very popular during 1900-1925. Everying in this store is handcrafted by one of today's unique craftsman. You will not find mass produced product such as Pier One or Pottery Barn, If you want to see the finest pottery being made today you have to check out The Mission Motif.

I was amazed when I found The Mission Motif. The Ephraim Pottery is to die for. All the products are hand crafted adhereing to the arts and crafts style. It was the perfect place to shop for period style lighting and furniture for my 1920 bungalow. I love my new hand knotted wool rug with the ginkgo motif. A must see for the arts and crafts lover. The Highland Avenue location was nice but the new Kirkwood Location on Hosea Williams Drive is grand.

I found exactly what I was looking for. The lamps are nice and very afordable. Bought an armoire which was delivered free of charge and and cleaned thoroughly before they left. There are not many places where the owners will deliver their own merchandise.

In Short Dedicated to the Arts and Crafts movement, this store offers a large collection of Mission-style furniture, indoor and outdoor lighting and accessories such as mailboxes, mica lamps and architecturally inspired rugs. Hammered copper bases grace table lamps, while cool ceramic tile address numbers make a statement before anyone steps foot into homes. Beds, cabinets and accent tables also are on hand or can be ordered.

The rugs and furniture were just right! I found the desk and lamp that I have been looking for. It is rare to find such unique pieces at reasonable prices. The neighborhood is thriving - it's great to see successful businesses in the area!

Stopped in before going to The Roman Lily for dinner. Really nice stuff, not your run of the mill same old, same old. Beatiful hand-made copper vases. Clocks also very handsome.

I stopped by because I needed a last minute gift and found a huge selection of items. I was focused on their smaller items, but they also have beautiful furniture. I plan on going back soon for a closer look.

The Mission Motif has a great selection of furniture and gifts. I love Tiffany style lamps and they have so many to choose from. The staff was really friendly and knowledgeable and helped me find just what I was looking for.
