Sun Dec 10 2023Great your experience Our tour guide was so incredibly knowledgeable of Cambodian history and lived through the Khmer Rouge regime. As a child he was forced to work the fields and saw and experienced much pain and trauma, and it was humbling as he, at times, became emotional as he shared about the atrocities the Cambodian people experienced. This tour while very confronting, was incredibly informative and added much to the ‘little’ we knew of the genocide perpetrated by the Pol Pot regime.
