This woman would be handy to have around if it was 1892 and you needed to breed up some farm hands. That being said, these days folks who breed like rats often bear other resemblances to said vermin.

Not a huge fan of having children anyways...however this family has it together...Im ok with a family that can provide the financial means and mental stability to be a good family.

Can not applaud such a large family in this over populated world. to their credit they pay for themselves and do not rely on public charities. they seem like very decent people and trying to raise good kids. but I wish they would not get so much attention for having babies almost every year. big deal.

I LOVE the Duggars! I wish I was in their family. They're an example of what a family should be like: loving, FUN-loving, and with great moral values. The world needs more people like them.

Dogs and cats rarely have litters of more than 10, birds only lay a few eggs at a time and reptiles and fish have dozens, but most get killed off. Humans in the past century or so rarely have this many children. Even in third world countries where birth control is limited families are still smaller than this. And don't give me that whole "The Bible told them to" nonsense. The Bible says a lot of things. I must have read the Bible dozens of times and it never prompted me to spit out a litter. I feel real sorry for the mom, she must be wrecked by now. The world is over populated Duggars, please stop breeding.

I never could understand the hatred poured out on this family who appears to be doing just fine. Live and let live sez GTH. Families are natural, believe it or not, oh ye learned members of the RIA.

A family of twenty from Arkansas? They wouldn't even need a van.

Well, in my opinion they have gone way past the number of kids that any family should have, but to my knowledge, they aren't living off the state like some are. If they can raise their own family without any help, then more power to them.

There was a "People" magazine article on the Duggars recently. I must admit they are very intriguing. I like the way the older kids help out with the younger ones -- that happens in families that are nowhere near this large. They look like they are very close-knit, and that's a good trait for families to have. They seem to be a bit too strict in some of their practices (that is, the females always wear skirts or dresses), but these things are all a matter of personal conviction, and them being Christians means they are on the right track.

I'm not exactly a fan of their religious beliefs, but that shouldn't be a reason for them to stop having kids. They seem to get by just fine with such a large family, so good for them. As long as a person or couple can provide a safe home environment for their family, then I have no problem with them having more children.

I watched this show for three minutes, and I can say w/certainty that the Duggar family makes me want to puke. Imagine if they went on 'Family Feud.'

Seriously.......I can't stand those people. I know that I don't know them, but I wouldn't want to anyway. That woman is like, 35, and has 18 kids, and her husband's name is frickin Jim Bob or Joe Bob or something like that. What is so incredible and heroic about being a walking vagina? AND HOW DO THEY EVEN FIND THE TIME TO HAVE MORE SEX? WHY DON'T THEY USE BIRTH CONTROL?? It's annoying.

I personally dont wanna raise a large family in the future for financial reasons, but if they are determined to make it work more power to them. The thing i dont like is their religious beliefs. When Josh Duggar got engaged he could not kiss his soon to be bride until they were married. As a man myself i would not be able to refrain from kissing or touching my woman until marriage. I would be so desperate that i would probably start humping cars!
