The Darjeeling Limited is an entertaining movie. The theme revolves around family and inter-personal communication but I think ultimately gets lost in the mix of stars, their antics, and trying too hard to be 'alternative' for lack of a better word. Definitely has some good moments but always leaves you wanting more. Builds you up but in the end is lackluster to put it another way.

This is pretty standard Wes Anderson fare - touching, quirky, a little sad, and with an awesome soundtrack. Most of the movie takes place on a train rolling through India as three brothers try and rebuild their bond following the death of their father. On the surface, they're out to try and have a spiritual experience, only to find out that the trip itself might be that experience. If you like other Wes Anderson movies, you'll certainly like this one. And beware - if you like to travel, this movie may amp up your travel bug.
