Tue Jan 23 2007I've called Texas Air several times and they've always given me the best price and the best service. The staff is helpful and the latest a tech has ever arrived is 15 minutes past what they estimated - not too bad.I had some trouble with the ventilation in my bedroom and they were able to resolve everything that day. My air and heat are blowing fine now and I will definitely use their services again!

Mon Nov 13 2006I first called Texas Air about 2 or 3 months ago when one of my rooms was significantly warmer than the others. 2 months, 4 service calls, and $620 later, I still have the same problem. I told them exactly what I wanted, they changed my mind and told me to go with a cheaper service which didn't end up working, so I am going to have to end up paying for the cheaper service and the more expensive one to get what I want. They told me the services to fix the problem I needed, gave me a good price, but then waited until AFTER they were done to tell me my place wasn't properly insulated. Thanks for nothing. To make matters worse, our technician left a huge mess outside and inside and didn't offer to clean it up. On the plus side, the prices are good, the call center is nice, and they return your call promptly - but the service is lacking. I'm left a little less than impressed. And a little broke.

Thu Oct 12 2006I used the reviews on this site to pick this service company. So, let me tell you my experience so you don't have as bad of an experience as I did. I needed someone out at a rental property of mine that day. I called Texas Air at 9AM and got an answering service that took my info and paged their dispatcher. The dispacher returned the page around 10 AM. At 10 AM I was told a technician will be out there in around 4 hours after working on another job. So, that would put them at my property around 2 or 3 PM. At 4:30 PM I hadn't heard from anyone. So, I called the dispatcher back. (By the way the dispatcher was the ONLY positive experience in this entire ordeal) She was suprised I had heard nothing and called the tech. She promptly called me back and then my tenant stating he was on his way, but was stuck in traffic. HE NEVER SHOWED UP!!! I called 3 seperate times after that asking for someone to call me back. Wed Sep 27 2006We are completely THRILLED with Texas Air. We found them through this website and could not be happier with our first experience with them. From the first phone call I made, everyone I dealt with was courteous, friendly, easy to get in contact with and extremely helpful. Our service technician was EXTREMELY honest, always on time, very friendly and did not try to push anything on us that we did not need. What a refreshing change this company is! Texas Air saved us over $500 (from what another company quoted). Thank You Texas Air....you are now our only company for air conditioning service and repair!

Its very rare in this area for contractors to show up promptly, keep their word, not oversell, do good work, and also charge a fair price. I have been in the business of refurbishing houses for several years and Ive had more than my share of bad contractors. I know theyre not all bad!!! All work was neatly and efficiently performed - even to sweeping up afterward! It is refreshing to do business with a company and it's personnel who are honest and trustworthy.
