Terry Flood Real Estate Company

After renting from Terry Flood real estate for 2 years I have to say he is the most worthless landlord I have ever rented from (and I'm pretty sure being a terrible person is a prerequisite for being a landlord). Of course the typical BS of trying to take the security deposit (why do these guys think that is their money?), but the most concerning thing to me was the lying. I caught this guy lying to my face no less than 4 times. He also shows how much better he is than you by totally discounting anything you say. During the move out inspection I caught him lying about having the carpets cleaned before we moved in (there was multiple large stains on the carpet when we moved in, that he said we needed to pay to have removed), he took of running like a little girl, without finishing the inspection. This guys is not somebody you want to do business with, go elsewhere. This guy is a first-class liar and thief, STAY AWAY.

Our experience with Terry Flood has not been negative. We rented from him for two years and just recently moved to a larger home. We would have rented from him again, but at the time we needed to move, Terry Flood did not have a house suitable for our needs. One of the reasons we liked Terry was that he would allow large dogs provided the specific dog wasn't destructive or aggressive. We received 100 percent of our deposit, including the pet deposit back about two weeks after the move out inspection. Yes, Terry Flood is strict about the move out condition of his properties, but we didn't find his policies to be much different from other landlords with nice properties. Also, on two occasions we needed minor repairs in the house. We called the office staff and they promptly sent someone to fix the problem. This company will attempt to nickel and dime you every step of the way. Not a lot of integrity. Withheld part of my deposit even after they said that everything was fine on the move out inspection. I would recommend that you find another company to do business with, because any interactions that you have with this company are likely to be negative.

This company clearly has too many properties and can't take care of the ones they have. I strongly urge everyone to run far far away and rent from someone else. My property is run down, can't pass city codes, and it takes days if not weeks to get anything repaired, and then it's shotty workmanship. Don't waste your money. And if you decide to rent from them, please read the lease very cafefully (I highly recommend you have a legal representative read it through before you sign).

I do not recommend this company. My personal experience lacked any customer service what so ever. Calls were never returned and mail was "returned to sender".
