We are going to Turkey and wanted to get a sim card to use while there. I found it very easy to buy the Turkey SIM card from Telestial. The process was easy and I received the card the very next day even though I had asked for a 3 day delivery. The Customer Service Agent I talked to was also very helpful and knowledgeable. I would recommend Telestial for getting SIM cards for any country.

Hello! I am a semi-frequent world traveler who especially enjoys getting off the well-worn path of others. I had looked at many possible options for my phone and data use for a upcoming trip to both Indonesia and also the Philippines when I found the Passport Plus SIM Card I just received. It arrived in less than the two days "express shipping" and the instructions were easy. It seems to work well in my Nokia G73 unlocked quadband phone. Having both a global and a USA number makes my life much easier and I evne found the data rates to be quite affordable overall as well. I think the instructions, while clear, were in some places a little wordy however. I've contacted Customer Service a few times and found people to be quite helpful and very short hold times. Customer Service also worked with me so I would not need to register with Facebook to set up an account to "like" them which was a big bonus with me!

A breeze to order. Customer service checked on availability for my Samsung Y. SIM card arrived exactly on time. Phone voice works perfectly out of the box, and I was able to get a US phone number set up quickly. Small glitches: 1) took a bit of time to get texting and data set up. Had to walk through a few menus on web site to find installation program. Took a while to get the text message, but once I received the text, set-up was a snap. Generally, just what you want for your money. More to follow after my trip!

I bought a phone and sim card from Telestial. It works pretty good, but sometimes I struggle to get service. I am in Europe for 4 months and it has been working pretty good so far. I would definitely recommend it.

Am travelling to Hawaii in a couple of weeks and ordered a Telestial Passport sim card in order to make inexpensive calls back home. While I havent yet tried to initialise the system as yet, the customer service help line has been fantastic and my express post delivery came as promised the very next day after my order went through. If the call quality and ease of use are half as good as the service - I'll be using Telestial every time I travel anywhere! Thanks so far Telestial .... very pleasantly surprised!

My husband and I have used Telestial Passport phone for over two years now. We use the phone in Canada but we have also used it while traveling in Malaysia, Mexico and on a cruise ship. It's the best value for money that you can get for an international phone with no monthly charges. The charge per minute worldwide is very reasonable and best of all, the customer service is excellent. We've called them at all hours and we never have to wait long to speak to someone. They're always friendly and very helpful. The phone arrives very quickly, international shipping charge to Canada is reasonable and the phone is very easy to use. We highly recommend this phone to anyone who travels anywhere because you can use the phone all the time in your own home country too at an affordable rate.

I got the sim card for my unlocked phone. I found the instructions to be easy and within a couple of minutes I had a US phone number too and I'm ready to travel to Europe. So far, so good.

The Telestial Passoport SIM card came really fast. I bought it to use in Africa. I will post more after the trip. The only thing I wish were different would be that the primary number be a US number. A surcharge is assessed for calls and texts to the US number. If there were a primary US number it would make this an even more affordable travel phone to stay connected with friends and family at home.

"If it sound too good to be true, then...." Contrary to what the reviews say, the Telestial Passport was a big disappointment during our recent trip to France and Italy. Complicated procedures, missed calls and confusing help service made our one successful call--until the train went into a tunnel--cost $39.95! Travel companions using the same service on their phone spent most of their purchased time calling the help service, only to be told that even though the problem was with the system, they could not reimburse the minutes used to call for assistance. Next time, we will wait until we get to our destination and simply buy or rent a phone their.

The Passport Lite comes with reasonable rates for calling and texting. A definite bonus is the FREE online travel journal feature that lets you update the journal from your phone as you go and allows family and friends to check the website and view the entries and photos you post! So worth it.

They are as good as advertised. I especially appreciated the follow up e-mails with the UPS tracking number showing when I will receive the SIM card. Came right on time from Boston to the west coast. Read the instructions, slipped the SIM card in, put in my PIN number and Bingo, it worked. I think this is a cost effective way of going if you only travel once or twice a year as I do to Europe, and if you hit more than a few countries. There are less expensive ways if you will be in one place, but if you are moving about, this is a great solution.

I have an unlocked, generic cell phone we have used in the UK, Ghana and Australia and are about to take back to the UK. France, Portugal and Germany. The Passport SIM card was the perfect solution to stay in touch through the entire journey. I don't need to worry about getting SIM cards in each country, and people trying to reach us don't need to worry about changing numbers. The toll free option for people to call makes it even easier and was a nice surprise, since I didn't notice it on the site. Delivery to Canada took a little longer than I expected, more like 10 days than 3-4, but I had left plenty of time, so this wasn't a problem. So far (about an hour or two later), I am very pleased. I needed to call the service line for something minor and found them to be very helpful. T

I ordered the Siemens A55 phone & passport lite SIM card for a trip to China. The phone was delivered promptly. I did not find the menus very easy to navigate. We had service, however, even though we had the auto-recharge enabled, the phone would cut off our call whenever the balance was low, then we would have to wait for a text message that I had been charged more money, and then could make a call again. This was very annoying. Also even though I had autorecharge enabled it would still ask me to reinput my credit card information, I called customer service and they said they had fixed this, but it happened repeatedly. Also my phone became 'locked' once or twice and I had to call customer service and answer security questions to have it unlocked. Also this phone does not make local calls, except if you have all the local codes to enter and then is charged at international rates. It was hard to hear as the volume was very low even when set on loudest. The travel journal was a ... Read more

The Telestial Passport SIM card was the perfect option for me. I am visiting only 3 countires in Europe and did not want to buy a new card for each country. The rates were practical for my budget, and saved me alot more money then doing a rent- a-phone service. Overall i am pleased with this product.

I was looking for a way to use my cell phone in Europe without paying fantastic charges. This card allows pay as you go so you don't need a plan. One card should work all over Europe so I you won't have to buy a new card in every country you visit. There is also a Travel Journal option for posting photos and comments as you travel and your friends can check where you are and what the local time is (so they don't call you just as you collapse into exhausted heaps after all the sight seeing etc.).
