TEL-A-CAR of New York

I travel to New York 3 or more times a month on business and because I have family there. I had the luck of finding this limo company. Nice courteous drivers, the cars are new and clean and they're always on time. They also have a large amount of specailty vehicles SUVs, Party Buses, etc. Have been using them for a little over a year and they haven't let me down yet. Pricing is not too bad either. Highly recommend.

Called looking for an SUV by the hour with a reliable driver and a great truck and they did not disappoint. The customer service rep asked how many would be in our party and how long we would need the vehicle. Ray showed up at the requested date with time to spare in a brand new Yukon SUV with all the bells and whistles. Ray knew exactly where he was going without referring to his GPS, was well spoken and well dressed. Helped us into the and out of the truck. Have used other companies before but would highly recommend Tel-A-Car of New York to my colleagues and friends

Tel-a-Car always picks up promptly, and the cars are in great shape. I've never had a problem ordering a car from them. Unfortunately, there is a fly in the ointment. I use Tel-a-Car for business, and consequently, the charge goes on my Amex & I just sign the (incomplete) slip in the car. Recently, I've noticed several incidents where the charge was more than I expected, and when I asked for a fax of the final receipt, additional charges (such as tolls, when we had not taken a tolled route) had been written in and authorized by someone forging my initials. When I mentioned this to an officemate, I discovered that several other people had experienced the same thing on different trips. Also, Tel-a-Car does not offer indoor pickup at airports unless specifically requested, which has led to at least one occasion where the driver and I could not find each other for at least 15-20 minutes as he supposedly circled the terminal. Prompt, professional driver, clean car. Professional and polite phone operators. I called at 9pm on a Sunday night needing a car for 6am the next morning. They were the third car service I called, and the only one with availability. Highly recommended.
