Sun Jun 07 2009TBS does rerun some good shows like My Name is Earl, The Office, Seinfeld and others, but they also have a lot of crap on the network such as House of Payne and The Bill Engvall Show. They do run good movies occasionally. Not bad, but does need a little improvement. More good original programming.

Wed Sep 28 2005In decline. If it didn't have the Braves, who would watch? The movies are interminably long with all the commercials.

Tue Aug 30 2005TBS seems to look too much like a kids channel now with those florescent color graphics and 1 dimensional logo. They never used to be as repetitive with stuff they air as they are now. Most local tv stations air the same things that they have on their station. They used to be a one of a kind Superstation , now they are just another generic 3 letter cable station.

Sun Aug 21 2005This station reeks of low budget. It's clearly an uninspiring dose of hasbeen sitcoms and bits of shallow, new age comedy. The only thing that could get worse would be the decades old movies they insist on repeatedly airing sans their redeeming qualities (as they are edited for content). I, like a few others, only watch this channel to catch a few Seinfeld episodes every now and then. This used to be my channel of choice many years ago, when the programming seemed somewhat fresh. The only change they've really made to the programming over the years was that they added Sarah Jessica Parker, 'sanitized'.

Sun Apr 10 2005Speaking of the Braves: Chip Carey is a low life back stabbing punk (I would love to use a more vulgar word, but I can't). How in the world can you announce Cubs for 7 years and then announce Braves? I have the answer... -- he is a low life piece of crap. That is the answer. TBS has decent programming... but the baseball just destroys any rating I can possibly give them.

Thu Oct 14 2004A good place to catch Seinfeld or The Drew Carey Show, other than that it's only good if they're playing a good movie (ALMOST never, sometimes they'll get a good one, but it's very rare).

Sat Oct 09 2004One of my faves. Love the old shows they have on. But they really need to do something about all the Steven Seagall movies.

Wed Jun 23 2004TBS Superstation, now known by the insipid title of TBS Very Funny, is yet ANOTHER station to fall by the wayside and lose their way in the rapidly-declining medium of television. For a station that one time showed The Flintstones, CHiPs, Bewitched, and numerous other classics--they have nothing worth mentioning now outside of Mama's Family. First off, and most shocking, is that they are airing Sex & The City. Sure, they claim its sanitized, but there hasn't been any significant editing done--all of the offensive, uncreative, mindless content is practically still there. Then, there's Outback Jack. That's right. Yet another station is airing mindless reality television. When will this reality crazy end??? As for their sitcoms--Drew Carey, Friends, Seinfeld, Everybody Loves Raymond, King of Queens (Soon), Steve Harvey--all are mediocre or BAD sitcoms. Occasionally, their movies are ok--but they are edited and full-screen, of course.

Thu May 13 2004You can't go wrong with the greatest sitcom ever (Seinfeld). If the Phillies aren't playing, I'll likely be watching a Braves game. Unfortunately, they'll be airing Sex and The City. Ugh.

Wed May 28 2003This network usually finds itself on my TV everyday because of their string of comedy sitcoms. Also, a place where you can find a lot of good movies, including those from the 80s (i.e "The Breakfast Club").

Thu Jan 23 2003I'm not a Braves fan but I like their Dinner & A Movie segments which is their strongest asset.

Mon Jul 08 2002It is simple, you cut Full House from your schecule, I cut two stars from my rating. Just consider yourselves lucky I like Home Improvment.

Tue Jul 03 2001WCW????? Smooth move idiots. At least put more Braves games on if you are not going to show wrestling. Your programming is boring!!!

Wed Apr 04 2001They're making their way back up, very slowly but they're achieving a good amount of stuff here.

Sat Dec 16 2000This station is great because it has a lot of old movies on it, like Overboard. It's a good station when you're home sick.

Wed Nov 22 2000It's cool. Always a good movie on. They do play out the movies a lot by playing them twice a day for a week. The movies are always fun to watch.

Tue Sep 19 2000The only place you can find all of your favorite '80s movies any time of the day. The "Brat Pack" died and went to TBS for never ending syndication of such classics as the "Breakfast Club" "Sixteen Candles" "St. Elmo's Fire." etc..

Tue Dec 14 1999I really enjoyed the recent "15 Days of Bond."

Thu Dec 02 1999I am a big fan of Dinner and a Movie segment - i especially like Annabelle. For some reason I find her really cute. Plus, it always seems like they are showing 'Weird Science' or 'Sixteen Candles' at 1:30 in the morning after a night out. Godd stuff.
