Much of what I have read falls into the category of “sad but true” TBN perhaps the largest TV network in the world, a being Christian was and still is a prime target of anything anti Christ-like, i.e. not meaning the anti-Christ please! Yet I believe that the American brand of Christianity is soon coming into a period of re-formation, the more of those who hold to what is fundamental to Christian faith speak out against the excess and the absurd, then perhaps the next generation of leadership will finally respond. The kingdom of God will advance, the message will not go away, there will always be false teachers, but Christians must speak up, even within the ranks there must be an outcry, remember much of what you hear comes right out of our mainline denominational groups, many pentecostals leaders for the sake of peace and popularity have refused to rebuke many of these teachers, just consider where they came from, trace TBN’s roots, I believe you will find AG, and COG at the bott... I will have to say that TBN's heart is of Jesus. Of course there may be some false teachers on that channel but duh the bible says that many false prophets would come and deceive even the elect if possible..but i have been touched by God through many teachers on this channel and many people around me have been as well. This channel teaches the TRUTH, AND THE WHOLE TRUTH, they do not leave out half of the bible or certain parts of the bible that are " uncomfortable" or "out of their comfort zone". They teach all of the word of God and their desire is to bring His Kingdom to earth. They accept ALL of God's son and do not reject anything about him!!!! I can not imagine how that must hurt God, that today so many of his children reject parts of his son!! All of Jesus's suffering he did on the cross was not ONLY for our salvation but for our healing and for our peace!!! The bible proclaims it!!!! Halelujah, he's the same today, yesterday and forever more!!!!

TBN is really causing a black eye in the world's view of Christianity. Not that they should try to fit into a worldly pattern by appetizing the desires of the masses but their current approach to the gospel is not scriptural as I can see. They ask people to trust the Lord by giving when they themselves apparently do not trust the Lord because they are begging for money. They occasionally have some good content and I do like their movies but most of their message anymore is asking for dollars. I'm afraid they have lost their purpose. It's really a shame because they could do great things for the Lord but opt not to.

When I first found TBN, was quite seduced by the overall system and almost fell for the trap. I have grown some, since. Their insistence on almost forcing viewers to give lest they will have to be held accountable before God is sickening. But I cannot deny that I have grown spiritually by watching certain programs and teachings, both on TBN and the Church Channel, one of their other networks. There is always something good there if you manage to separate the gems from the garbage.

Is it of God? If Christians really want to know what God (Jesus) thinks of TBN they should read Matthew 23,in particular verses 23 through 28. Is it of God that the obscenely rich should profit so greatly from the desperately poor? The creed of this organisation, and those who infest its programs, seems to be 'Greed is Good, Greed is God'. If you look at the finances of this network you will see that its primary motivation is wealth not welfare. The prosperity doctrine that is so near and dear to this organsation is the antithesis of the teachings of Jesus on so many levels. The core message of Jesus' ministry is unconditional love for your fellow man, not to defraud him of his hard earned money for your own venal purposes.

I must have seen 30 different preachers on the TBN beg-a-thons make false Prophecies about how its "the year of seven" or "pass over offerings" or other lies to bunk people without a Bible out of money ( I assume they have no Bible or can't read). Stick with your local Church.

Mr. Evangel, you make a lot of sense...until you apply the test "WWJD."  I have a very difficult time seeing the J-Man hosting a show of his apostles/disciples in $1,000 suits, all, including Jesus, with "bling-rings."  As disciple P. T. Barnum once was quoted, "...there's a sucker born every minute."  I think it's one of the greatest sins to trick honest souls out of their money in Gaw-duh's name.

Are you serious !! The bible is clear about following false doctrines . There false because you say there false or because the bible says there false! I'm sorry but to say that the entire network is of the devil is just foolish and over doing it just a little.Like I said before there are some people on their that I disagree with but there have been some real Men and Women of God on that channel.! There are so many nonbelieves out there that critizice the christain community. The sad thing is even christains critzie the christain movies and channels. Let me tell you this for all those christians that are critizing , TBN , christain movies and people like Benny Hinn, why don't you go out there and do better. Show us how it's suppose to be done. If not shut your trap! Atleast these people are trying to make a difference. Instead of sitting on the sidelines and critizing others for trying. Also I do disagree with people saying if you want your healing send us money however, why is it that ... Read more

I hope anyone rating the Trinity Broadcasting Network has taken the time to sit and watch a few programs. I have been watching off & on for over 20 yrs. and have watched some of the best testimonies I have ever heard. Recently they have had the 'Dog' bounty hunter on and even people around me didn't know he was a Christian. They have worked hard and it is hard to go on TV and let the audience see you age. Jan is very Spiritual and some look at her make-up(which I personally think she would look better w/o half of it) and judge her but if that makes her feel comfortable so be it. As far as the money, their many TV stations around the world bring light and Truth to people who need this as an alternative to secular violent/trashy at times TV. Of course it was just a matter of time before someone tried to blackmail them for $$ as they tried to do Ceylon Dion and her husband. In conclusion, I don't think God would be blessing them with their continued stewardship over TBN if they were out o... Read more

Are there any two persons on the planet more annoying, more phoney, more superficial, and more insincere than Paul and Jan Crouch? He is hauling-down nearly $1/2-million a year in base pay, she not a whole lot less. Only God knows how much they additional they enjoy in perks, freeloading off "believers," and expenses paid for crusades, travel in the like - which most of the rest of society must pay for themselves. And all under the umbrella of a tax-exempt organization. I caught a broadcast one night. Several guests, all were railing about every sin, except one. I called, and told the operator that 5 of the folks ranting on-stage had to have a total body weight of more than a ton - and if she would have them address the sin of "gluttony" on-air, which they seemed to have omitted, I'd send them $1,000; I got a quick hang-up. Another broadcast, I called again. I said the preacher on-air was claiming, by "words of knowledge" to be healing people all over the country, via their t.v... Read more

I am an ardent supporter of TBN. God bless them. No doubt, many people have found salvation in the Lord Jesus Christ through TBN all over the world. There are many supporting testimonies to this fact. God bless TBN. Truely, there are many false teachers and preachers today, but the negative comments from a lot people about TBN is that they don't do anything for Christ. These opposers are not christians, no passion for christ, his word and His for his mission in earth. A lot of people talk about men of God being rich, what is bad there. What if you people see god today and God told you HE BLESS His servants with riches. You guys should shut up. You are all jealous and crafty. Leave Pastor Benny Hinn and others alone. They have God's mandaye. How dare you criticize a man of God like Benny Hinn on whom there is real annointing of God almighty. Do you people know what is annointing? No you don't know. If you know you will respect men of God like Benny Hinn who the Lord is sending to all t... Read more

I'm no longer a Post Nicene Council westernized Xtain, but I find some of the ministers and programs interesting or helpful. Nothing is perfect. Joel Osteen is one who offers more to me. Dr. T.D.Jakes, my former favorite, fell from grace with his comments about "Passion of the Christ," claiming "that is the way it happened." Come on now. It was made on emotionalism. The Catholic Church, I am sure, was a receipient. They needed a fund raiser to compensate for the child molestation ligation. How can those of African descent be comfortable with the White Jesus & Greek saints on the stages' stain glass. So much stress on the name "Jesus," yet "J" didnt exist before 1578 & as an independent letter in 1602 A.D.. Why do we have European names in a book supposingly having it's origin in the East. Why is there no history of Jesus outside the Church? Why don't the orthodox Jews have documents of him? Overall the program is ok for the spiritual development of some people but one day th... I was tempted to rate TBN as 'great' just because I find it the most hilarious channel on TV! But to be honest, it isn't great, it is frightening. Frightening that such fraudulent liars are selling such a corrupt and distorted idea of Christianity. Sow a seed (ie send us a load of money) and God will give you everything you want. These blasphemous nutters play on the insecurities and fears of often ignorant, brainwashed people who believe every word in the Bible and so believe every word that the Televangelists spout. All they have to say is that 'God revealed this to me', or, 'The Bible tells us...' and the gullible masses soak it in. It interests me that in an age when people are supposed to be better educated than ever before, when more kids go to University, when the vast majority of Westerners can read and write and when science is making such massive progress, that there has never been such ignorance and gullibility around (especially in America). What has happened to our ... Read more

Ever wonder what TBN's expert on Biblical economics might be writing at his desk as his show comes on? Maybe it's something like this: Child of God, I need a lot. Child of God, give all you've got. Child of God, just sow a seed. But Child of God, make shore it's green. Child of God, please send your best. It shore ain't cheap to fuel my jet. Child of God send satan a'runnin' By putting gold on all of my plumbin'. Child of God, I've got places to go. You're stuck in a rut on your job, I know. But you'll git pie in the sky by and by if you'll only make darn sure I get mine. Child of God, I need a new Merc, as well as billions of other perks. Child of God, write a generous check. So I can buy a nicer desk. Or better yet, share the needs on your heart and the numbers on your credit card. Child of God, just give, don't think. Child of God, I'm runnin' out of ink....

If ya'll have nothing better to do than to sit around pick and choose who is a false prophet than that is down right terrible. Here's a suggestion how about you let God our creator and savior judge them wether or not they are false or true. Yes Some are misleading shows on TBN. I just loved the comment on how the man wrote about God doesn't annoint tbn cause he died 2,000 years ago.lol Good news HE's alive. It both saddens and angers me that the largest Christian television network which undoubtedly has influence in the far reaches of the world would be run by a bunch of right-wing (both politically and theologically), fundamentalist, close-minded wackos. It would be much better if our world was being reached by more open-minded moderates who were not divisive about church and state separation and evolution like the TBN people. But then again, its the fundamentalist establishment that has the money not the moderates. Paul Crouch and his crews theology could not be more wrong if they tried to misinterpret the Bible. We are treated more to sermons about how the separation of church and state doesnt exist and how Godly and prefect President Bush is than practical teaching from the Bible. Especially telling was Paul Crouchs rant a few years ago on Praise the Lord, whereby he informed his audience angrily that he didnt want to hear differing opinions. But its not only these fundamentalis... Read more

Please note that I do watch TBN. This rating is specifically for the NETWORK, not the ministries are featured on the network. This network exhibits prosperity gospel at it's worst. If you're poor, you must not be giving them enough. If you're unable to pay the bills, you must not be giving God enough. God's annointing is measured upon how much "blessing" (aka.. MONEY) you receive. Jesus, uh, had sort of a different message. Paul and Jan Crouch are jokes, along with Benny Hinn. This does not, however, distinguish the fact that there IS some good programming on TBN. Karen Wheaton's "The Ramp" is an amazing program that has blessed my spiritual life in many ways. Bananas Comedy Show is hilarious, and I love watching Virtual Memory and all the music video shows. This is where they get 2 stars. However, that aside, TBN is a crooked business with crooked owners (http://www.christianitytoday.com/ct/2004/137/11.0. html). NEVER entrust your money into the hands of this ministry. If you belie... This travesty gets even one star only because their occasional Praise-a-thon (translation: Cash-a-thon) specials offer so much unintentional comedy. It's amazing how so many well-dressed, perfectly coiffed people, sitting on the most lavish TV sets in recorded history, can ask for money and keep a straight face. Between hyperactive zealots (Rod Parsley, Paula White and Juanita Bynum, who actually calls herself a prophetess), money-hungry scumbags (Paul Crouch, Benny Hinn), to the just plain inexplicable (Jan Crouch), a Praise-a-thon does have some car-wreck entertainment value. The rest of the time, however, TBN is just plain boring.

Someone mentioned that TBN is "a station anointed by the Lord Jesus Christ". Well, that's great except for one thing: Jesus died two thousand years ago, and there weren't any television stations to "anoint" back then. Modern Christians like that guy I quoted make me ill; not because they ARE Christians but because they say a great deal of things which have little substance, like the "anointed" comment above. I find most Christians to be more concerned with the down-to-Earth teachings which can be applied to their lives; not this obsession with empty slogans and lofty, empty platitudes. Teach your religion / philosophy if you like, but leave the unproductive rhetoric out of it.

TBN is a station anointed by the Lord Jesus Christ. Many miracles take place via TV so be careful not to judge. You are not forced to send in one cent and if you can't deal with the false eyelashes, turn it off. Some of the programs are wonderful and for those who can't get to a church, this is a blessing.

The only reason to remotely watch it is to see howm any gullible people out there fall for Benny Hinn's moeny making scam as "saving people from the evil wretches". Hinn needs to go away. All of the other TV evangelists are all animated anyway, who all want what Benny's getting loads of, so it's all a scam. The Lord is not going to damn you to hell for not watching this channel, just simply go to your local community church and forget these TBS circus clowns. The Lord might commend you for doing just that.
