I have never been on a cruise, and don't know as I ever would want to. It just doesn't sound appealing to me. I like the ocean, but not well enough for a cruise. It's just I can think of a lot better ways to spend my money.

Irish, you're about to hear, apparently for the first time, from someone who doesn't think food is the big attraction of cruises. Never have, and never will. If you want to know why, its because everyone I`ve ever met, without exception, who has been on a cruise raves about one thing and one thing only. The food. Sorry, but if I`m putting out the kind of coin that the average cruise costs just to eat well, I`d feel my money was better spent going to New York, Paris, San Francisco or Rome, booking a decent hotel and spending a week dining in fine restaurants. I have little interest in a dressed up buffet designed to impress folks whose normal fine cuisine experience is a Sirloiner.
