Sun Sep 02 2007Sweden is a complete racist shitehole as far as the government is concerned. Swedes are racists and worse because they think they are not.

Tue Jan 31 2006Why do some Americans have such an inflated opinion of European countries. At least in America we have religious freedom. In Sweden all citizens are automatically born into the Lutheran church. Yet at the same time pastors at these state-sponsored churches are not even allowed to preach the traditional beliefs of the Lutheran church such as that homosexuality is wrong. Talk about mixed up integration of church and state.

Mon Oct 10 2005Been there and it's very subdued, bordering on boring. Food is good and there are fun things to do in Stockholm. Great design and manufacturing.

Wed Oct 27 2004Stockholm is a great place to visit, strung over many islands and parks, crystal blue waters everywhere. A lighter feel than some of the other Scaninavian capitals. As for the country, feels a bit provincial, and staid compared to say, Denmark, but that's because it's bigger and less populated. Good looking friendly people earn stars too.

Tue Apr 29 2003Quality hockey players coming out of Sweden these days. Too bad they are Socialists to the bone. The Nobel Prize is awarded out of Oslo, and only goes to those with the best disguised Socialist propoganda. They gave the "Peace" prize to Arafat! Hypocrites.

Sun Dec 22 2002Was in Sweden recently, lovely country. Great scenery, very efficent people. There was only one aspect in which i didnt like very much-the people didnt seem to be very friendly and talkative, i suppose some people would call that reserve...otherwise i had a good time!

Sat Mar 23 2002Socialism. Womb-to-tomb benefits. You can't give your child a swat on the rear end here if (s)he acts up in public, or you go to jail. Children's rights are placed ahead of adults. Living together without getting married. No strong church ties. What kinda screwed-up social mores does this place have, anyway?!? 'Nuff said.

Sat Sep 29 2001Sweden is a very beautiful country. The city of Stockholm is one of the finest cities in Europe. Built on 13 islands, Stockholm is called a city on water. It is very well preserved. In fact, the medival roots of the city are easily recognized on some of the islands. The coasts are filled with fishing villages and very beautiful beaches, and there are many beautiful forests throughout the country. With a prosperous economy, high standard of living, and small population, Sweden is definately a wonderful travel destination.
