We should listen to my Irish subject below. Chicken is a boring meat for boring people. I prefer something with a little flair that don't eat their own poop. Update: Here is a YouTube video on these tasty birds. If you are a PETA lover, don't watch the clip. I wish that I wasn't stuck at home. I would catch these tasty birds, clean them, and deep-friend them with chips.

I've never had this either, but would certainly give it a try. Unfortunately, acquiring one might be a touch difficult, and involve a healthy bite out of your bank account. Traditionally regarded as a bird reserved for royalty, they are apparently hard to domesticate, bad tempered and aggressive, and expensive as hell, as the following site will attest. http://1800steaks.com/swanmeat.html A grand for a friggin' bird for the oven? A Google search got me the following: "For to dihyte a swan. Tak and vndo hym and wasch hym, and do on a spite and enarme hym fayre and roste hym wel; and dysmembre hym on þe beste manere and m... I'd give it one star since I'd assume that it tastes like either duck or goose, but since I've never actually tried it, I'll give it the benefit of the doubt and give it an extra star. I wouldn't mind tasting roasted swan, but I'd just assume try it on some other day beside Christmas. I want something that I know I'll enjoy on Christmas.

I was just sweating for a peacock and now I have to do the same for a swan. This bird is gorgeous, you want to admire it not eat it!

Why? I could NEVER eat one of these. I'm with Messenger; it should be admired, not eaten...

What?! People eat swans?! Swans are beautiful and graceful. Eating them is sick!
