Thu Oct 22 2009Recently went here for a quick lunch, they have lunch specials that are very reasonable. I found the sushi to be good, and so is the terriaki. Parking is tough though, so you may have to park down the street. At night you can bring your own wine/beer/sake, always a plus!

Mon Jun 09 2008I had saba & sake nigiri sushi, a hamachi & avocado roll, beef yaki udon, and green tea. The sushi rice is texture like mashed potatoes, and it taste like slimy rice almost congee like. The fish had no favor it taste like very well defrost fish, which mean fish lost it's natural richness or taste if it is NOT fresh. The roll was cut unevenly and the nori seaweed taste old. The yaki udon had very little sauce, the vegetable is big cut (not bit or mouth size), and the portion is too small. O and the $1 green tea is a cup with hot water and cheap tea bag, so if you're a tea lover like me, DO NOT order that. I only went because I just move to the area (and very homesick for sushi) and I saw the review on this website (I agree with DelicateHeidi it feel werid to eat-in no customer in the restaurant at 7pm), PEOPLE if it is bad just write it, that's what a REVIEW IT is for.

Tue May 06 2008We ate there once and ordered take-out couple of time. The sushi is not bad but a little expensive. I didn't like the dine in experience. We were the only ones there and the servers and chef was watching some crime show the entire time. I get the distinct feeling that people don't normally dine in thre, and it makes me feel like I'm comitting some kind of faux pas. The food was acceptable but a little expensive compare to some of the places that I'm use to in Cambridge.

Tue Dec 04 2007Sushi Cafe has the best sushi around. The rolls are on the smaller side but to me its all about the quality of the fish they use. I lOVE the spice tuna and the eel. It's a quaint place with great service. The one and only downfall they don't serve alcohol BUT you are invited to bring your own! I have tried so many sushi places all around and this place remains my #1!

Thu Jul 26 2007sushi pieces are small. I love the spicy salmon: the chili sauce in placed ON the roll after it is put in the final dish- not tasty at all. Tried a snapper roll: again, small pieces. the rice was warm and had no flavor. Street parking. I sat at the bar (5-6 seats). space is small, typical for a small town restaurant.
