Steven Brust

Great author. He is able to write in so many different styles, his writing is sooo good, and his characters are always interesting. I read everything I can get my hands on by him.

Brust's hero Vlad Taltos is one of the most engaging and complex characters I've read in a long time. Brust's Dragaera universe is unique and - thank God - he's so funny. Terry Pratchett meets the Medicis.

Steven Brust is one of the most underrated contemporary fantasy authors. His Dragaera series of novels is wonderful!

Some his best work is woefully unknown but even his popular series stands up well for depth.

I love this author! He's got a really biting wit. All of his books have killer plot twists; you never know how the story will end. I suggest you read Jhereg first.
