Sun Jan 24 2010If you wanna choose your primary healthcare professional, please go somewhere else! These people accept too many walk-ins at a time that they cannot follow the appointment schedule anymore. They make you wait hours and hours. It's comparable to a trashy ER with mostly uninsured individuals. They're another example of unprofessional professionals who just want to rake in as much money as they can and not really care about what you're going through. If they are in the patient's position, I wonder how they're gonna behave? It was the biggest mistake I ever made so don't make that same mistake especially if you're a very impatient person. Our children go to southwest medical and they are seen within 5 minutes of their appointment schedule. Now that's real customer service and i think their worth every penny my insurance pays for!!! Sterling Medical Group doesn't even deserve one star rating, huh!

Mon May 18 2009Always ask for money upfront even when the insurance company is verified and told them that the patient is not responsible for the visite than refused to give the money back after the insurance paid the bills. They won't see me there again..................:(

Mon Dec 01 2008Everything said above is true except the good stuff. The staff is very unprofessional, laughing joking loudly, goofing off socializing with each other but never enough time to answer the phone or help the patients. Try to make a phone call to this place, i don't know how they stay in business. I guess because they are cheap and take any insurance. You will get what you pay for here. The doctors don't review your history each time you return for a follow up so if you use them you will have to play doctor and be prepared to tell them what they need to do. They also set it up so that they maximize their number of copay payments from the patient, ie. they don't schedule your exams cost effectively to reduce the number of visits. You will have medical tests done and no one will call or review the test with you unless you call them but you can't ever get through to them so what do you do? Don't run out of your prescription because you'll play hell getting another one called in to the pharm... Read more

Sun Nov 16 2008I moved from California 3 yrs ago.Had been with two other doctors here in Vegas, but because of job changes, forced to change insurance and doctors too .And thank goodness its all for the best. I have never been more happy and satisfied with the service that Sterling provides all this year. The doctors(Dr Tan or Dr Musni) excel in their specialty(Internal Medicine & Family Practice). They have help me in my difficult financial times(no insurance) by giving me samples or prescribing me cheap generic medications. Although the waiting time did not change all these years, the quality of care that I will receive matters most.It is much better than Urgent care or ER visit that I went to in the past which average 3-8 hrs wait. When I got admitted in the hospital, nothing more reassuring than to see your own regular physician. I will stay with Sterling Medical for the rest of my life.

Mon Jul 28 2008Sterling Medical Group has appearantly gone under new management sometime recently and I was pleasantly surprised by the changes on a recent visit to the clinic. I was also surprised by the convenience this companie offers with an inhouse lab for bloodwork, inhouse ultrasound capabilites and special rates for the uninsured for not only office services but lab services also. I did experience a bit longer of a wait time but the care and courtesy I received was well worth it. I must say that after reading the other reviews I was a bit weary of this clinic but it was close to home so I gave it a try and discovered an experience completly the opposite as those described. I definately recommend this medical facility if you are looking for a great all around medical experience. Appearantly new management has done tremendous things for this facility!!

Sun Jul 13 2008THIS FACILITY SHOULD BE TAKEN OUT OF BUSINESS. Here is my horrible experience with them. - Sterling Medical Group do not bother to update their address with the ER Department at Desert Springs Hospital so ER patients are sent for exam to a different part of the city (Charleston instead of Flamingo) - When calling Sterling Medical Group operators lie about their walk-in hours that they are by 5pm and then once you are at the facility they tell you that walk-in hours are by 2pm - Once I was finally to be seen by a doctor I had to wait for four hours. Same was for all other patients who are all so aggravated for being stuck for so long. - Medical staff at Sterling Medical Group do not even bother to close the door when talking to a patient so one gets to know what all other patients are sick from - The staff working at the check-in LIES for appointments, doesn't speak English and when asked a question they keep on repeating the same sentence completely ignoring what you've just said. ... Wed Aug 29 2007worst medical office ever. They made me wait for about 1 hr in the waiting room then another 20 minutes in the patients room n when the doctor came, my session was only 5 minutes and he diagnosed me as having gastritis when I've been having this sharp pain specifically only in one small spot of my stomach and I've been having it for 2yrs from then. He took no tests, just poked my stomach a bit n then he gave me some strong disgusting medicine that I did not dare take. What I had was more closer to an ulcer not gas. At the time they charged me very expensively but to find out 2 yrs later they filed a claim saying they never got the payment. I called my insurance company to find out they never even got a bill from that session and found out that they were trying to still even charge me more for the session before this one. This place is fraudulent do not go here.

Sun Aug 20 2006The nurses there tried to prescribe a banned medicine to take care of a minor rash. They charged us an unreasonably high fee for the visit. The medicine was lindane, a deadly pesticide banned from America.
