His show was awful, In the Richmond Market we complained so much that they bagged him after a bout a month. I can't see him lasting a year. He yells too much and I feel half of his show is dedicated to hitting on his co host and trying to get women to call so he can show he is smooth. He should stick to writing columns because 3 hours of his show is about 2:59 too long. Glad Richmond gave him the boot. Sorry for those of you who are still being punished.

One star is too high to give him. He schtick is old, tired and boring. If FOX did this to be PC they are killing ratings in one of their most important slots. Put him on the overnight shift. He and Looney at 3am would be a nice place for the pair.

I can't listen to this guy....at all. I tried, but he is so loud, obnoxious and self-absorbed that I can't handle it. They got rid of Steve Czaban for this guy? Really!!? Who decides these things? THAT guy should be fired. I'll be listening to something other than Mr. Smith's yelling during my drive time.

What are the chances of this idiot and Colin Cowherd getting into a high-speed, head-on, vocal cord-paralyzing car crash?

This guy is so bad that I can't even listen to the SAS commercials when they come on during the local Fox Sports Radio programming. He is loud, obnoxious and self-centered. Fox has made some awful choices in their sports radio programming in the past, but trading in Steve Czaban for this a$$ clown is undefendable. He cannot be fired fast enough for me. LKB

Double terrible. This guy is so self promoting, he's unlistenable! Monday I tuned in and he was interviewing Howie Long. Of course, he passed it off as his great buddy who agreed to be interviewed so early on Monday, however, he interviewed Howie Sunday night after the game. SAS kept trying to fix Howie's reference to "todays game" with laughable results. This is terrible, his side kick is the only good thing about the program, but he won't let her talk. The show has lost me. rsj

I have a 70 minute commute so when I tune into sports talk radio, I want to be informed and entertained but SAS does neither. Aside from the NBA, he has very little general sports knowledge, so his opinions outside of that very limited segment are uninformed and dispassionate. I also find his arrogant bloviations off-putting. Replacing Steve Czaban with SAS was a huge mistake!

I don't hate Stephen A. Smith I just think he is horrible at talk Radio. He doesn't know enough about Sports to be able to talk about it. The decision by Fox to put this guy on in the morning is a horrible one. I for one really enjoyed listening to sports talk in the morning on the way to work. Stephen A. Smith doesn't even talk about sports.

stephen a smith is truly unlistenable. The dropoff from the previous host (steve czaban) is so steep that it's laughable. FoxSports Radio made a horrible decision and will have to live with the consequences. This will include losing their entire morning listenership to their competition. Smiths audience doesn't even wake up until noon. the NBA is such a ratings blockbuster anyway, i guess Fox thought the nation needed someone to defend Gilbert Arenas, Ron Artest, and the rest of the morally bankrupt league. Good Move Fox. It's decisions like this that keep you a second-rate network.

Stephen A. Smith replacing Czaban? What an abomination! Lose the phony affect Smith. This has the signs of a move based on diversity regardless of quality. For shame..

THIS GUY SUCKS!!! When I first heard him on the radio I thought that he was just filling in for the Steve Czaban show while they were on Christmas break. Now I find out that SC was fired and they have this guy permanently. His topics are boring, his opinions are arrogant and his yelling is annoying. Hey FSR, thanks for helping me to turn the station.

The new morning show is truly awful, I will not be listening to FSR anymore, and certainly not to Screaming A Smith. Being loud is not an alternative to being intelligent or thoughtful or lucid. I will admit that when the Czaban show first started it took me a while to get used to it, but there is no way I will get used to this new show. I understand that in radio someone is always having to justify their salary by making changes but this is truly a bad one. I fully expect that whoever was responsible for this change will not be working for FSR much longer.

SAS took place of Steve Czaban on Fox Sports Radio, accidentally tuned in this morning, thought I was going to hit a bridge embankment before I could get the radio changed.

This guy sucks.....He couldn't hack it at ESPN Radio, he couldn't hack it on ESPN TV, he could hack it as a writer for The Philadelphia Inquirer... And now for some unknown reason, perhaps blackmail, Fox Sports Radio has signed this clown. Be warned this guy is the biggest suck that ever did suck......
