So there is something more freaky than an old, bald French captain, that has no family to tell of, and too many young women to tell about... the freakier thing here is the new character, you can say new, but really its old... Its a clone - who happens to be a Young but bald version of Captain Picard, Fused with some alien dna of course for good measure. There is no doubt that the Star Trek Franchise is coming to a full stop with its movie making, as well with its lack lustre enterprise called "Enterprise". Someone needs to put new juice into this system, because it has potential for a complete rebound.

I thought this one was pretty entertaining, although I'm not really into the series that much. 3 and a half stars for not putting me to sleep.

This is a decent film with a really unimaginative plot (it is a retread of Star trek 2 - a much better film). The villain is only vagualy menacing and the first action sequence (picking up parts of the proto data in the buggy) looks really tacked onto the film. As with all modern ST films the effects and the acting are good but overall the plot lacks the imagination for a higher rating.

I enjoyed that movie and thought it was much better than Star Trek 9. I was surprised it did not do better. I did not like that they brought back a new data just to keep the door for Brent Spiner open to come back for a new movie. Data died and they should have left it that way. I will miss Star Trek TNG movies but I understand why this was the last movie. It was a good movie and in my eyes underrated.

Although the special effects were good, it was a bit on the boring side. The one good thing about that movie was the ending. Although I liked Data, it made the ending interesting and different rather then one of those predictable happy endings.

Not the best in the series but good none the less. The movie has a good pace but the plot is a little thin. The effects, as usual are great and the acting is what you would expect. The world of Trek is shaken be the some what suprise ending. Must see for all Trek fans.

One of the best battle scence with the ships. The first time Star Trek use the collison course and actually have the ship collide.

Nemesis epitomizes how a Trek movie should be! Starting off with the classic Star Trek The Next Generation theme against a background of moving stars, you know you are in for a great motion picture! The special effects are awesome and even beat the ones found in First Contact and Insurrection. The awesome cast of actors could show Tom Cruise, Vin Diesel and other overrated dramatic actors a good lesson in how to act. The plot is great and has a lot of mind games, just as a Trek plot should. There are some AWESOME touches of continuity: from previous events, characters from Deep Space Nine and Voyager (!!!!), old friends dropping by, other alien races from past adventures and more. The action sequences are so much better than James Bond, XXX, Mission Impossible and others that its not even funny. Rivaling Wrath of Khan and First Contact for best Trek movie ever, I gladly give Nemesis five out of five stars!!

I had mixed feelings about this one. I enjoyed the story, and the acting was solid, especially by Tom Hardy who played the villain Shinzon. He was evil and mean without being sleazy, which is something not too many people in the movies seem to be able to pull off these days. I thought the part where they ran around in the dune buggy was out of place, though, and don't get me started about the ending. I hate it when they kill off major characters, especially ones that have been around since the very beginning.

A must see. The best action packed Star Trek Nemesis, will be on DvD May 20, 2003. I hope Paramount Pictures will make Star Trek Nemesis Play Station Game.

Disappointing entry in the Star Trek franchise. Let's backoff on the makeup, Data. Can anyone remember the plot, after 3-4 months? Compare that to the Voyage Home or Wrath of Khan? Who can forget those movies after 20 years?

It was a nice diversion, but not the best of the Trek movies. This one really didn't live up to its potential, unfortunately.

Well...at least it wasn't all about guts and gore this time. Interesting little movie offers no surprises, but is at least mildly entertaining.

Not the best movie in the franchise, but not the worst. This movie was almost a "long epsiode" of the tv show. A disappointment!

This movie had so much potential, but yet it failed to deliver. One of the problems was the hour of scenes that were cut out of the movie, I'm assuming due to time constraints. I can't wait for the dvd.The acting was top notch all around the table though. The movie pays a little too much homage to other star trek movies, using already overused plots. The villian tries and fails to be too much like Khan from #2. The Data storyline could have used some work too. The self destruct gag with Patrick Stewert was priceless though. Overall, an ok movie that missed its mark.
