A nice airport, clean and easy to get around in. My only complaint is with some of the workers. Every time I've flown through St. Paul during my connections I've had really rude experiences. The last time it took me forever to get out of customs and when I finally arrived at my gate the lady screamed at me, asking me where I was and she had been paging me since ages. I tried explaining to her about the customs but she just rolled her eyes at me and didn't believe me. When I asked her if I'll get on the next flight, she didn't give me any definite answer, and just told me to sit and hope there is a seat on the next flight. She was really rude and after a very long flight from Egypt I called my Mom in tears from the situation. All the times before most of them have just not been friendly. :[

As far as airports go this one is okay. I have to hand it to the operators though, they fly out in bizzards where at other airports you'd be grounded.

MSP with new terminals and trams is much better, and the secured terminals with the riff raff kept out are a real joy. It's handy to the downtown Twin Cities if that is where you are going. I give this fairly high marks although I would not like to be there in a storm as shown in the disaster flick, Airport.

Well, it's not bad, but far from thrilling. I can only speak about the Lindbergh terminal, which is the main terminal. I have never flown from the Humphreys terminal. Good access by subway. A smoke-free airport, as you are reminded every thirty seconds by some anonymous female with a sugary voice on the PA system. It is close to the Mall Of America and has convenient parking. Usual fee-based wireless internet access, which is actually very spotty depending on where you are in the terminal. Shuttles to take you from one gate to the next if you are pressed for time or unable to walk. Good shopping, restaurants after security. After security - that leads me to my next point. My big and major gripe with MSP is the fact that, outside of security, there is One (1) place which offers food (aside from candy) and that is a Starbucks by the baggage collection point. That's it, folks. I have spent hours and hours and hours here, waiting for people to pick me up, waiting for ... Read more

Shopping and food are good - food pricey. Distance to planes sometimes enough to wear you out. Airy and liveable - not too noisy. Great to home to. If you're transferring with short time, you may have to run 1.5 miles on granite - bring your track shoes. But it's all indoors, none of those stupid trams or buses. Rental car system and ground transport easy to get to - underground, clean, and handy. Well planned. Not pretty but Minnesota is usually snow or rain so who cares!

I dont see how this airport cannot be liked by anyone. First of all, they have restaurants and shopping everywhere, they have a modern and clean location in a midst of a 3 billion dollar expansion. It is so big, and yet they have transportation to get you around. I would have to say for large airports (including international) msp is a great airport. They are among the top five ranks in overall customer satisfaction!
