Come to SJC for a truly holy experience. From the heavenly choirs performing Mozart, Bach, and other sacred works, to the ****RUBRICS-AWARE*** priests, nothing is profane or even slightly irritating. The lines for Confession are a sight to behold on Sundays. If you miss the reverent, beautiful Mass of yesterday, or if you're a Post Vatican II baby like myself who was sick of having to sit through Mass where the priest made it up as he went along and the music was something dreadful by Marty Haugen (NOOOOO! MAKE IT STOP!) come to SJC, where the focus of the Mass is the Eucharist and Jesus, as it should be. Friendly congregation, easy access, but most of all, SANCTUS, SANCTUS, SANCTUS! You will not regret coming to this house of God. What a treasure in the city of Chicago. Check out the website at www.cantius.org for a virtual tour, streaming video of Mozart's Requiem Mass (done every All Souls' Day) and more.
