Sat Mar 22 2008I've never really tuned in, it just sounds like a white trash station.

Thu Dec 29 2005Was really good when they first became Spike, when they showed Dukes of Hazard reruns, they had WWE Raw, and Star Trek the Next Generation. But the WWE went back to USA, and Spike picked up TNA instead, not nearly as good. And Dukes of Hazard are now on CMT, which leaves Spike showing Bond movies and CSI nonstop.

Wed Oct 26 2005Bad movies & bad TV shows. This channel deserves a big fat zero.

Tue Oct 18 2005It has its place with good stuff once in a while.

Sun Aug 28 2005On the one hand, Spike TV is the self-proclaimed home of Star Trek, with DS9 and TNG both on twice a day and Voyager coming in 2006. But, my goodness, the rest of their station is just junk. CSI is gory and the commercials they make for it are offensive and brain-dead. MXC is just more reality drivel mixed in with crude, tasteless humor. Real TV? Give me a break. And, they also show wrestling--not Olympic-style wrestling--but the stupid, fake, tasteless WWE trash. And, don't even get me started on the mindless Lance Cross show and Stripperella.

Wed Aug 10 2005This used to be a good channel, until it changed its name to Spike Tv. They used to put on good shows (A-Team,Mamai Vice), now its a bunch of crap. I can't see how they would play James Bond movies every time its thankgiving, christmas, ect. over and over again. The only time I'd watch it now is Monday nights when WWE is on or MXC, other than that I don't waste my time.

Mon Jul 26 2004ChampCar races and James Bond movies save it from a 1. Otherwise it's crap starring the overrated Pammy the Silicone PETArd.

Fri Jul 09 2004Some of the shows on spike tv are pretty good. I love most extreme elimination challenge, and im glad they revived ren and stimpy. However, some of the programs, like stripperella, are just plain silly. This is the self proclaimed network for men, but at times it just seems like a poor man's version of nickelodeon.

Tue Jun 15 2004The on-screen ads have got to go. I'm done with Spike until those distracting ads are removed.

Tue Apr 20 2004TNN *The Nashville Network* started going downhill in the '90s. And it really died when Nashville Now started gathering up crap entertainers that country people will not listen to. Then they got rid of Ralph Emery from Nashville Now and the show died, and TNN further progressed. Grand Ole Opry Live continued to stay on TNN, but it was dieing as well. Then they changed to TNN *the National Network* The country people of course stopped watching and they picked up a new audience. I stopped watching. And now Spike TV has some real good stuff on right now. Not for me though. I'll just go back to watching old tapes of Nashville Now from the 80's.

Wed Mar 31 2004Mediocre programming which is very repetive. How many times a day do we have to watch Star Trek? Even their original programming isn't that great. If there has to be a network for men(and a network for women) which personally I think is dumb, then why is a lot(not all) of the programming geared toward idiots?

Wed Mar 31 2004Pro wrestling, Star Trek and subpar programming all around. Surely this network is most popular among those with single digit IQs.

Wed Mar 31 2004The only good things on here now are Most Extreme Elimination Challenge and Startrek. It's gone down the drain with adding programs like Stripperella and Ren and Stimpy. In response to Milkshakey's comment, I know it's aimes towards a horny male audience. I wouldn't go for a guy who watched that crap! It's old programing was way better. I guess though, since there's a woman's television network, the men thought they needed there own channel. When really, they hog the clicker most of the time anyway. They think that woman just watch the sappy romantic crap, but I'd rather watch sports chanells any day!

Thu Feb 19 2004Most Extreme Elimination Challenge is one of the funniest shows I've ever seen.

Mon Feb 16 2004Spike TV is very quickly becoming one of my top 3 favorite stations: I can laugh myself to tears watching Most Extreme Elimination Challenge, there's just something about people swinging on ropes and slamming against walls and sliding off that just cracks me up. And the other day I caught the final half of a Slam Ball game--trampolines and basketball, that's just GREAT! I guess I'm not into the T&A; that's featured on occasion, but that's not an issue when my friend informed me that he was watching the LIFETIME channel because they had a special on cleavage (if anyone knows if this is true or not, I'd like to know; I avoid the Lifetime channel like the plague). I know I won't like everything they show, but hey, you can't go wrong with guys having mid-air collisions in a bouncy basketball court.

Wed Aug 13 2003Not bad. It's the Spike channel now. I don't care for the Star Trek and Gladiators, but I love Ren & Stimpy. And Real TV is ok too.

Wed May 28 2003What happened to this channel. All it is now is a bunch of boob-flopping Baywatch and VIP crap. No country fan I've ever known could stand Star Trek or any of it's spin offs. It's nothing like what the original "Nashville Network" started as - so why didn't they change the name when they changed the format?

Tue Apr 22 2003Why even bother with TNN? It used to be The Nashville Network which aired great country music programs then it became The National Network which is currently terrible. I refuse to watch it now and I will refuse to watch it when it becomes Spike TV in June!

Wed Apr 16 2003Change is Goooood.

Mon Jan 20 2003love the next generation star trex programs. the commercials are BAD. How do you explain to aten year old what the advertisement mean when they say would you? You know. would you? I would. why make something clean like next gen. dirty. can we have nothing safe for our kids?????
by lukskywlkr
Thu Jan 02 2003Kind of a hit-or-miss channel with me. Entirely depends on the day I'm channel surfing. They did show a great James Bond Marathon over the Christmas holidays. Even with the commercials, it was entertaining.

Fri Nov 29 2002I watched TNN last night for the first (and last) time. Is there a lower rating than one star that I can give? One star is one too many! I saw James Bond in the TV guide. I thought "Oooh, I'll watch me some James Bond, by golly!" But what would have been an enjoyable movie was ruined by this spam-bar across the entire bottom of the screen. I REFUSE to watch crap like that! If I want SPAM I'll go to geocities.yahoo.com! Why is it that whenver something is preceded by "The New..." it means "We've made it totally useless, don't even bother." Let's face it. We already have WAY more channels than we need. TNN is just one more spammy cable-clone dangling at the bottom of the channel chain.

Wed Nov 27 2002TNN (now known as the National Network) has really gone down hill since Viacom took over. It was first a country music channel that aired great shows such as Grand Ole Opry Live, but now the network is now nothing but junk. There are at least a few shows watchable such as American Gladiators (a favorite of mine long ago) and Star Trek: The Next Generation. It may have a few great shows, but like many people say TNN is now known as "The Nothing Network".

Tue Jul 03 2001I started watching this channel when they atarted airing wrestling on monday nights. I will continue to watch as long as they keep showing the WWF or (maybe) WCW(?).
by callmetootie
Wed Apr 04 2001The only shows that I like on TNN are The Wonder Years, Taxi, Newhart, and WKRP In Cincinnati. That's a pretty long list, but it sure beats The Waltons, Little House ON THe Prarie, Apple's Way, and Mulligan's Stew.

Fri Dec 15 2000TNN is a great station because it now broadcasts WWF wrestling. It is low on commercials. It has unique shows on it. I don't know another station that broadcasts rodeos.
by bassplayrr
Wed Dec 13 2000Programming. No other channels range from something like the Dukes of Hazzard, all the way to dog racing and NASCAR. The only other channels to offer racing only do sports- on TNN, wehn the race is over, other types of shows are on.
