I'm not quite sure how this dog torture chamber stays in business. Perhaps it is the county budget cuts. The daycare and /or boarding dogs do not "play all day "as suggested. The dogs get locked up in tiny kennels that are reminnisent of the 50's. I asked that my dog had a swim camp hour. I came early to find my dog soaking wet , shaking & terrified in a chain link kennel. The owners response..."buy a towel for $3.00. This place is beyond ridiculous. The owner knows NOTHING about dogs. The pound is a preferable place to this. joint.

We have a Cairn Terrier who loves his visits at Spawz! He takes swim classes and loves the pool. Whenever we go away on vacation we leave Buster at Spawz knowing he will be cared for at a wonderful place.

This place is just about the worst place you could bring your dog. It looks like Charlie Manson could be hanging around any corner. The lady at the front desk is very rude and does not know how to handle dogs. When I picked my dog up at the end of the day he had a cut under his eye and was still soaking wet from the pool. The lady at the front desk is extremely overweight and looks to have some type of glandular problem. Perhaps this is the root of her work ethic. Please do not bring your dog to this place

I found Spawz after my Dachshund had his 3rd back surgery a year ago. I checked out several places and this one had the best resources. He had been given about a 60% chance of being able to walk again after the surgery. When he started day care he had very little feeling in his back legs and could not stand up. Spawz made sure he had his meds on time and his own space. His kennel was in a small suite so he would not be bothered by the other dogs. Due to the diligent care and therapy he received, he is now able to run. I contribute his mobility to the care given by Ann Marie and her staff. You can see him showing off his stuff at the start of the new video.

My Henry loves his daycare. The owner is very sweet and the staff loves all of the dogs. It is very clean and there are large rooms for the dogs to play in and a large clean cemented fenced area outside for the dogs to run and piddle. Henry has made many friends here and has been a much better behaved dog since going to Spaws. We love this place!!!!!

Spawz was recommended to me by our vet as a good possible source of excercise with their water therapy for our 12 year old dog that has arthritis. I contacted Spawz and set up a visit. They staff was very friendly and helpfull. I was very happy with what I saw and the service that we received that first day. We have now been going for over 3 months and we are at the facility twice a week. During my visits I see very happy dogs in the play area and see the dogs being taken outside for breaks very regularly. The swim therapists have been working with our dog in the swim pool and I want everyone to know what a fantastic job they do here. They truly have a passion for animals and I trust them 110%. My dog loves to go there and loves the workers. What I have seen in the workers here is that this is way more then just a job to these people. They are truly passionate towards dogs and want to help your animal feel it's best and enjoy the experience. I would HIGHLY recommend Spawz to anyone loo... Read more

I can't imagine what motivated all08 and cnbar to give this facility a one star. we have taken our doxie there for swimming twice a week for almost 8 months. She's lost three pounds (over 10% of her body weight) and is a new dog. Full of energy and canine confidence. I have been totally impressed by the energy, cleanliness and attitude of the workers AND the doggie guests. I easily give this a five star and would recommend Spawz to anyone needing a good loving daycare for their pet or exercise for therapy or fun. I would be happy to give a reference. I have used Spawz Dog for over 8 months for both my doggie daycare and boarding needs. I am very appreciative that they have always made space for my girls - be it for a few hours or a few weeks and sometimes with very little notice. Spawz Dog is always sparkling clean and the staff are friendly and helpful! My dogs always hop out of the car without even a backward glance at me! It is important to me that my pooches have both doggie and human interaction when I am away and this is achieved at Spawz Dog. At several other places I checked out, my dog would never be touched by a human for the whole time I was on vacation - unless I paid extra! Thank-you Spawz Dog for treating my dogs as if they were your own.

The people here are very cold and apathetic towards the dogs. It is crystal clear that their hearts are not into it. Found another place where my dog is much happier and the staff obviously love what they are doing & it shows.

This place in one big fat lie hidden behind a cute facade. I dropped by unannounced during regular business hours to take a tour of this facility. My first clue that something was not right should have been the locked front door and the lack of web cams. The only person there was a harsh older woman who was clearly annoyed that I did not make an appointment. The "5700 sq. feet of play area" which is claimed on the website is a big fat lie. The so called "play area" is chopped up into several small wire kennels and cages. I was told there were a dozen or so daycare and overnight dogs on that particular day however only 3 dogs were in the play area. The rest of the so called "fun daycare dogs" were stuck in kennels, cages or crates. All of them were obviously miserable. Only a couple of the dogs had water bowls and of these few, most were empty. None of the dogs had beds or even a blanket. The "largest outside area in Seattle" is also a big fat lie. It looked like a concrete... Read more

Anne-Marie, the owner, is an extrodinary person who truely has a passion and a warm heart towards looking out for the very best for dogs. She takes extra special care. The new pool and treadmill are going to be awesome when they are done in the next couple of weeks.. like nothing else anywhere I've seen in Seattle!!
