Sat Jul 23 2011Have had Sparkletts Water delivery service to my business and residence for over 10 years and both the water and service has been AWESOME. All of you idiots that keep whining about cancelation fees, being overcharged etc really need to read and or ask for the full contract that you are agreeing to BEFORE you tell them "sign me up". I get over 30 five gallon bottles per month sent to my business and another 5 five gallon bottles per month sent to my house...for over 10 years...Sparkletts #1!

Wed Jun 22 2011From the start I have had one bad experience after another. From misleading information, to out right manipulation. I have contacted them countless times. I started with phone calls and was manipulated, and nothing that was said to be changed in my account actually changed. When I first received my cooler I was promised 5 months off by simply paying a $50.00 deposit. I was also promised a job. The sales men’s exact words were “Hey if you need a job I could get you one by tomorrow”. I held off for a couple of days since I had already had a job interview and it seemed to good to be true. He gave me his previous bosses number (Van Nuys district) and I was told he would be gone for a week on a business trip. Supposedly he was gone for four weeks by the time I got a hold of him. He sets up this last minute half ass interview claiming he likes my enthusiasm, but he has others applying for the position, so he will get back to me. After a week I call him he says I’m just leaving the office c... Read more

Wed May 25 2011BEWARE!!! These people will say whatever they need to to get you to take the service. All smiles and promises that if it is not what you expected that you can call and they will take it back no problems. Read the fine print! You will be charged $100.00 to discontinue. You are also stuck for a one year contract. When you call they are rude and will not transfer you to a manager. They will not return phone calls. They will just bend you over and tell you what a great deal you are getting and expect you to act like they are doing you a favor. DO NOT USE SPARKLETTS OR DSW who is the company that sets you up for service. That "free" extra bottle if you sign up right now no strings attached just suckered you in. There are extra charges that they don't tell you about like $2.26 or $2.39 for energy surcharge. What the F is that? and why does the price change from bill to bill? I am already paying $5.00 for the cooler rental that I plug in and use my energy. They don't supply the power, I do. T... Read more

Sat Apr 09 2011AVOID SPARKLETTS DS WATERS OF AMERICA!!! If you live in LOS ANGELES AREA AVOID SPARKLETTS DELIVERY SERVICE for your home or office. The Worst and Horrible service I encountered. This company full of lies and INCOMPETENT EMPLOYEES. The delivery guy delivers water bottles more than the bottle you left outside (with note). They will not accept when I tried to return the bottled water they over delivered. I closed my account because of false charges. all the returnable bottles were returned. They still bill me with returnable bottles and for some bottle water that I did not received even the account was already closed. When you talked to the Customer Service they are not helpful and full of lies. NOT RECOMMENDED!!!

Mon Apr 04 2011The worst. I heard their water comes from a local well and we all know how the water can get here in central Texas. Inconsistant. Some of the Jugs tasted like plastic and they give you attitude. They will rip you off when you stop service. check your VISA for major hidden charges! If you get acooler from them, you will regret it. $50 to recondition the cooler when you stop service! Buy your own cooler at Lowes or the Depot. What a ripoff!!!!!!!

Tue Mar 01 2011SPARKLETTS IS THE WORST! Sparkletts water delivery service in NYC, and the parent company DS Waters of America, have proven to be a nightmare. Their customer service has screwed up every pickup and drop-off for 8 months running. Every call to customer service seems to be like a bad joke. They don't take customer service seriously or respond to any complaint with any action to fix the problem which is always their fault. Worse, they screwed up the billing, sent me notices that my account was paid in full, then without warning closed the account and sent it to a collection agency even though I had email confirmation from them of every payment. INCREDIBLE. Then when I called them they said there was NOTHING they could do and that I had to file a dispute with the collection agency, even though I had all the confirmations of payment. MADNESS.

Fri Sep 17 2010Beware! It's sort of a legalized scam, but you only find out when you try to discontinue the service. When they come to your door and offer you service, they tell you how cheap it all is. They don't mention all the charges that show up in your account when you try to discontinue the service. The latest one is: They are charging me for refurbishing their equipment.

Tue Sep 14 2010My wife and I have been trying to cancel our delivery service with Sparkletts Water since early June. We were given inaccurate information on how to accomplish this, been argued with and screamed at. Finally we were able to send them a certified letter in the first part of July and told we would be billed our usual $57.00 on July 13, 2010 and then they would pick up their stuff from our house on August 13th. Sounds fair! BUT, then they debited our account AGAIN for another $57.00. We called, pleaded, argued (my wife even broke into tears as a result of their total lack of concern). They took money from us that was in no way theirs to take. Yet we were told they could not simply reverse the transaction and refund the money to our bank account - "policy, you know". When we finally received our refund to our account, it was short $2.00. They said that was a water surcharge. Why would there be a surcharge when we received nothing from them to 'surcharge' us for??? We still have not r... Read more

Tue Jul 27 2010This company and the company it purchased "O premium water" have delicious tasting water! It is good enough to allow you to be held hostage by their BEYOND AWFUL customer service. I have been brought to tears by this company and have almost thrown things in anger and I am not an angry person! I was held hostage by the fact that I was a single mother renting a house and could not put in a house system and did not have a way to go fill 10 5-gallon jugs at all hours of the day. Now that I am finally a homeowner I'm telling them to kindly jump off a cliff and I will do whatever it takes and spend even more $$ if I have to...just so they do not have my business. I've already learned that canceling with be even more hideous...but worth it. If you have any other means of clean fresh drinking water...take it...they do not deserve our business and I am ashamed that I gave them mine for 3 years. Brandi.

Mon Sep 07 2009We have had Sparkletts water home delivery service for over 5 years without any problems. Yes, the delivery drivers prefer to leave you the bottles on your porch (but you would too if you were them). The taste of Sparkletts surpasses any other water delivery service out there. *Everyone of our family members and friends agree that Arrowhead is the most horrific tasting water on the planet.

Mon Aug 10 2009Fortunately we did not sign a long term contract with Sparkletts. From day one, when the driver came to deliver the first delivery of the water and the cooler, he did not ring the doorbell even though we were home and just left all the bottles and the cooler in our front yard. He left a sticky note marked "no one home to accept delivery" even though our front door was open! (Our screen door was shut, but clearly someone was home.) Then on subsequent deliveries, the driver NEVER showed up on the right day and NEVER rang the door bell. I work at home so I am at home all day. So we never had the chance to give him the empty bottles. On the day he was supposed to come, we left them out, but then he never showed. Then he would show up on another random day and leave the water in our front yard. Of course, the driver left the wrong amount and type of water, but again, we had no chance to talk to him about it. We called customer service at least once a week to get this straightened out, but... Read more

Sat Jul 18 2009DON'T SIGN UP FOR DELIVERY ONLINE!!! Their scam is to tell you that it's $20-something a month for about 3 5-gallon bottles. Then, when you try to cancel because their service sucks so badly, they tell you that you're locked into a contract for a year. We looked through all of our emails and invoices, basically everything we've received from them. NOTHING STATED THAT WE WERE LOCKED IN FOR A YEAR! So, guess what? There's a cancellation fee! We've had nothing but problems with this delivery. They didn't give us the right cooler at first so we had to wait weeks to get a new one. Then we found out that we had 2 deliveries a month and we only signed up for 1 a month. That was changed but then our delivery dates were off, so at this point we have no idea what dates we have for deliveries! Then, about a week after our last delivery, we came home to 2 bottles sitting by the door. We didn't order anything and we weren't scheduled for any deliveries. We called about it and it turns out that ... Read more

Wed Jan 07 2009Water tastes excellent. Was told there was no delivery charge and pricing wouldn't change throughout the year in order to get us to sign up. Then we were given a cooler without a drip pan and spent the next 6 months trying to get the drip pan. Now I'm just exchanging the cooler if I can make that happen (it's impossible to get anything done through these people). The delivery charge is hidden under "energy surcharge" and they tried to increase my bottled water price 2 months after I signed up. I managed to have the increase taken off, but still trying to get a complete cooler. If I had to do it over again, I wouldn't sign up! What happend to honesty when doing business!

Tue Sep 02 2008At one point deliveries were not a problem. (The first couple of deliveries) Then got to the point where I was getting charged for water I never received, got deliveries on days that I was not scheduled on -- EVERY time I called customer service - I got this "we're very sorry, we are changing things around to improve the quality of our service." After 7 months of "dealing with their changes" I gave up. In researching there are MANY companies that delivery quality water. Check out your local area for the water companies out there. It is always best to support the local businesses in which you live. If you're going to go with Sparkletts - at least make sure you do your homework first!! If it doesn't work out ~~ told you so!!
