Southern Comfort is a company you can trust. Stephenie, Luis and staff provide a quick response, even on the weekend! They value you as a customer and want to keep your business, over making a quick profit. They won't try to sell you something you don't need. And, they wipe their feet every time they come in the front door! You don't see that in most service companies. We won't ever use another air conditioning company again. Thank you Southern Comfort for making sure we stay cool in this South Florida heat.

Absolutely amazing service... I am a police officer in the Miami-Dade area and was pleased to learn that we get an outrageous discount for any law enforcement officer as well as firefighter or military personnel. I was recommended by a Broward Firefighter who had his A/C unit replaced and bragged about the professional service provided Southern Comfort Air Conditioning staff. My personal experience with Southern Comfort has been unique and extraordinary. Amazing customer service packed with understandable prices! All Scott and Luis were great to work with and their constant care for the quality of work they do is outstanding. Especially in this day and age when people are looking to cut corners where ever they go, it's refreshing to know that there are good and honest people still out there. I'm in LOVE! Luis and Scott are unbelievable! Extremely down to earth and personable, top notch customer service and ofcourse very knowledgable! My house at this very moment is super cool and QUIET! In fact, I can't believe the air is even on. Scott came out to inspect my old unit, offered to fix it or replace it. I chose the replace option but I'm confident that Scott would have fixed the problem on the old unit, it just didn't make sense to go that route in my situation. As with any old unit, there are bound to be issues here and there. Both Luis and Scott did an amazing job tackling any issue that arised. They always had solutions and were relentless in solving them. If a hole needed to be patched, done! If a drain pipe needed to be moved, done! After having many bad experiences with contractors over the years, I was very reluctant to deal with anyone else. My wife went online and looked up the different AC contractors in our area. She found Southern Comfort with 5 star ratings. To me, that didn't mean that much, but she insisted that we call, so we did. Scott came out our house and after inspecting the AC unit he told us that in the long run it'd be better to replace it. So given that our AC was 17 years old, we opted to replace the whole unit. Lewis, the owner, came out to see what had to be done. While he was here, we got to talking and Lewis went out of his way to help me with a completely separate issue, and saved me a lot of money. Scott and Fide came to install the AC unit, in 1 day as promised, despite the massive struggle they had with removing the old unit (it had to be cut in half). Like many others I had Southern Comfort and Luis Olivera reccommended to me as one of a kind. It turned aout he and his company are. He was very professional and on time as promised. Our building maintenance manager said there was no heat installed in our loft even though we had a thermostat. Luis found the problem, we had heat but the thermostat was not working. He replaced the theromostat with a new one and we no longer have to worry about Miami's cold snaps and it will improve the AC even though we have used the AC only 5 times since buying our loft in 2004--we rely on a lovely breeze with our tall french balcony doors open on the 17th floor. The price was more than reasonable. In addition, Luis and his partner are personable and know other contractors in the business (i.e. electricians, plumbers) who they would reccommend. I will not hesitate to call Luis and Southern Comfort--an aptly named company.

Luis was highly recommended by a close friend so I decided to give him a try after a previous AC technician told me the entire unit had to be replaced. Not only did Luis fix the problem for a fraction of the price, but he discovered that the previous tech had actually sabotaged the unit in order to try and sell me a new unit. Luis fixed the problem in about half an hour and now my AC is running perfectly fine. Lesson learned. BE CAREFUL WHO YOU HIRE. I'm now telling everyone I know the story and giving them Southern Comfort's number to call for all their AC repairs and maintenance. Unlike a lot of other clowns out there, you can trust these guys. They are professional, prompt and knowledgeable, and they saved me a ton of money.

I needed a new air conditioning unit and called Southern Comfort because they came highly recommended. Luis gave me the best price and installed it the day after I chose his company. They did a great job. I will definitely use them again when I have any issue with appliances in my house.

After having a HORRIBLE experience with another company (All Air), I was fortunate to contact Southern Comfort. Luis did an outstanding job of quickly diagnosing my blown capacitor. Luis also noticed that the other company's technician had inverted my wiring after I declined to do the overpriced repair with that company. Had Luis not noticed the sabotage job the All Air Tech did on my a/c, it would have completely fried my unit. Luis was a true pro, an HONEST and HONORABLE person that fixed my problem and charged me a very fair price. There was never any attempt to stick me with unneeded and overpriced cleanings or refurbish jobs like All Air tried to do and the Southern Comfort price was less than half of what the competition tried to charge me for the same repair. SO pleased with the company; the customer service, response time, knowledge and honesty! I was having an issue with my dish washer I called Southern Comfort (which I normally use for any AC issues ) and as always Luis was efficient and informative! When he heard the sounds that it was making he informed me that it was more than likely the motor, but after rolling up his sleeves and removing all sorts of things from the belly of my dish washer from glass to an iron (Monopoly piece), he had my dish washer back in business in less than an hour! THANK YOU!! If you are in need of an efficient and experienced company for your AC or appliance needs, this is certainly the company to call! You will NOT be sorry.

This is the best company. If you need your A/C fixed, then hire them. The man on the phone was so nice. They are definitely honest people who care about their customers.

I highly recommend Southern Comfort Air Conditioning and Appliance. Partiucularly in the heat of a South Florida summer, it is important to know you can count on them should your air conditioner or appliance give out. They are extremely responsive, knowledgable, and professional. My entire family has used SCAC for years and we would not use or recommend any other company.

The service I received from Southern Comfort Air Conditioning surpassed my expectations. They were very courteous and knowledgeable. The system they installed has been working beautifully for the past year. I have since then referred them to several friends with great success! I recommend them highly!!!

On Saturday the ac in my business gave out my place was filled with customers i called eight companies i found online two of the companies had an answering service i lift a message some one was going to call me back they did the but they called on Monday! The other companies i called never picked up the phone the eighth company i called was a cool world. a person answered the phone by the name of sandra i told her that i had an emergency my ac was not working and i had over 100 people in my business i needed them now! She said she would call the tech. and he would call me in 30 min. the tech. called me and was at my place within an hour. He checked the system and found that the unit had four very dirty filters. I was paying another ac company to change the filters every month and they had not done it they would charge me every month for the service but never did it.
