Sun Sep 27 2009Children like the gift of the dvd player for thir Birthday. They have enjoy the listening to movies of their choice instead of fighting over which one they will watch,

Sat Sep 12 2009I am a 76-year-old disabled veteran, and I have quite a collection of DVDs -- mostly very old B&W; movies and some old television programs. Some are like "Lum and Abner," "Amos and Andy," "The Beverly Hillbillies," "Ma and Pa Kettle," "the Victor Borge show." I also have several series about World War II and the military such as "The War", and the History Channel series "Dogfight." My wife has had two small strokes, and can no longer drive. Often when I drive my wife to one of her doctors' appointments or to have her hair done weekly, I wait in the car and watch some of my DVDs. The picture quality of the Sony DVD player is outstanding, and the 6-hour battery life is excellent. The 9" size is perfect, and is lightweight enough to move around with one hand. Sometimes I like to watch a DVD while I am in bed, so I turn the DVD player sideways on the night stand so that I can lay on my side with my head on a pillow to watch the picture. I highly recommend the Sony DVD player!... Read more
