I went this past weekend for my 20th birthday. BEST EXPERIENCE of my life hands down. It is extremely exciting and I have never felt so free in my life. I am going to get licensed this summer because I just can't stop thinking about it! Really, it's an experience I cannot quite put into words but it's something I can see anyone looking back on wishing they had tried it!

I don't lie awake worrying about it,and it does look like a lot of fun,but they'd probably have to give me a shove the first time I tried it.I just think there's an innate wisdom in the body that would say to the mind "Are you NUTS ? I ain't movin !"

It was very scary for me until I found out I was over the skydiving companies weight limit. Then I started thinking didn't they parachute that elephant in "Operation Dumbo Drop"?

As they say: "If at first you don't succeed . . . then skydiving is not for you."

With my massive fear of heights I could answer on either end of this scale. The thought is terrifying but the point is mute - as I am 100% sure it's never going to happen.

Pretty safe if you're not too reckless. Highly recommend this Activity, lots of fun, exhilaration and Pure Freedom.

I am afraid of heights, speed, and not being in control to stop, so yes, i would be very afraid of that.

It's not the sky diving part that's scary...it's the sudden stop at the end that's the scary part.

Hey, look, I'll try anything, ANYTHING, but if you think I'm whipping out my pecker at 120+MPH... ...well, what can I say. You should have stopped at "ANYTHING"

My girl friend likes jumping out of airplanes, but I'm going to limit my daredevilment to motorcycling.

Another one I'd like to try. I'd probably pause before jumping, but you have to just go with it and jump.

Yeah, it does scare me a little, given that I have a morbid fear of heights. Fortunately, I'm able to deal with it by choosing not to do it. The same is true of any number of items on this list.

A part of me really wants to do this, but a larger part- the one thats afraid of heights- won't let me. Sorry Gris, probably won't be joining ya.

Okay, there's just something wrong with jumping out of a perfectly good airplane for one, and two, airplanes, in general are just too big to be flying around in the air in the first place. I am still amazed how pilots get something that big off of the ground and then keep it up in the sky thousands of miles up for any period of time.

Hm. Jump out of an airplane. Well, at least the metaphor is accurate.
