This restaurant is amazing! Great patio. Great menu. I'd recommend sitting quickly to check out the menu before you order at the counter. Quick service. Great variety. Try the Jamaican spinach patty or shrimp tacos. Their salads are huge. The blackened tofu dish is very healthy, filling, and tasty! Their homemade fries are delicious but expect a 15m wait for them, as they are made upon order. Great bold flavors. Don't miss out on their smoothies. You'll want to return, and soon. Easy parking in the back. Best of all, it's affordable! Check it out asap.

This restaurant is a gem. However, make sure you thoroughly check your take out orders. They regularly forget a meal.

I enjoyed the friendly atomosphere and helpful staff. I also, enjoyed a nourishing energy drink.

I use to live in Los Angeles. When I became a vegetarian I was on the search for a vegetarian restaurant that served tasty, healthful foods; Simply Wholesome provided me with just that. The staff was great! I've recommended this place to any relative/friend that travels to that area. Keep up the good work!

This place is great. Vegetarian food made with soul. I especially enjoy the fish tacos and Caribbean spinach patties. If you have a sweet tooth ask for an all natural smoothie that's made to order. I always bring friends from out of town both vegans and carnivores and the response is the same FANTASTIC!

I do not have a clue why that person gave a bad reveiw or what SHE has experinced, but my experiences have been nothing but pleasant. I know of no other place that serves flavorful vegan desserts as well as dinner food. I am hooked!! I live in San Diego now and (call me crazy) I will gladly drive the distance, making a day of it, when I crave one of their spinach patties :) They also have a great vegan BBQ burger with avacado and sprouts...mmmm Also, 'Uncle Eddies Cookies" are great, they are sold in the store part.. they are delicious. It is kind of small and not really for kids for lack of space. Better to order and take home.

Though the market itself is very small (not comparable to Trader Joe's or Henry's, let alone Whole Foods), the restaurant is great! Fresh, healthy food that actually has a taste! Healthy food does not have to be bland. I love the way they incorporate afro-caribbean flavors! A must have for me whenever I'm in L.A....

This is the best vegetarian selection I have seen in all of Southern California. The menu choices are creative and delicious. There are so many options I was overwhelmed. There are also numerous options for the carnivores in the crowd. In addition to the food being spectacular, the smoothies are inspired and what a deal! The prices are unreal. This place is worth the trip!

We stopped here on advice from a friend, and we have to agree that this place's food is really good! We placed our orders at the counter and sat down on the patio. On this visit, Chris tried the breakfast burrito with eggs, which was packed with a tasty mixture of potatoes, onions, scrambled egg, and peppers. Rich ordered the chicken burrito, which came stuffed with tender strips of barbequed chicken, rice, and black beans. Both of these, which were huge, come wrapped in a whole wheat tortilla and topped with some fresh-tasting salsa. Both were tasty as all get out! The only negative part of our meal was the disposable utensils and styrofoam plates.

This bright and airy health food restaurant sits in a part of town dominated by fast food restaurants and authentic, cholesterol-laden barbecue joints. In additon to the extensive vegetarian menu, there's also an adjacent health food store that sells organic foods, homeopathic remedies and vitamins.
