Similac Advance

I didn't even want to rate this formula but i had to haha! But i absolutely hate similac! We had our baby on enfamil and ran out one night, we had a can of similac that the company had sent us for free, so we decided to use it until the next day when we could get more enfamil, well it was a bad choice similac gave my son such bad gas he would just scream and cry! poor little guy :(. I dont know if the gas was caused from the switch of formula but i do not like similac at all and i wouldn't recommend this formula to anyone.

I LIKE THE EXTRA NUTRIENTS AND MY DAUGHTER LIKES IT,BUT YOU REALLY HAVE TO SHAKE IT TO BLEND WELL AND THEN IT'S REALLY BUBBLY.

Similac Advance. Great product! What sold me is the Immune development and greater calcium absorption benefits.....What Enfamil lacks (which is plenty) Similac makes up for it.....

The only reason I used this stuff was because Similac donated 24 free cans of this since we had twins. Other parents of multiples should look into this since formula can be a big cash drain. I really appreciate Similac's kind donation, but I can't reccomend their product to anyone given the other choices available. Similac is costly and does not mix well at all! I had to make it hours in advance to ensure it dissolved all the way. Similac also leaves stains on clothes and doesn't smell good. I always called it Smellylac, ha ha! Anyway, given it's premium price and sub-par performance, I'd pass. It's nutritionally sound and did the job, but so does Parent's Choice at a much better price.
