    Nice enough place, with winding corridors so you'll get your exercise walking to your room. There's a big pool, and nice golf course next to the property, along with this little old western town built for the resort. It's only about 10 minutes from the freeway but it's really secluded; almost too barren desert for me.

    In Short Each room features a large desk and Sweet Sleeper bed with a custom plush-top mattress, fleece blanket, duvet and five fluffy pillows. Rooms come with a two-line phone, voice mail, data port, safe, cable TV, hair dryer, iron and minibar. Notable amenities include a complimentary USA Today, pool and fitness center. Full dining facilities offer a low-carb menu, room service and to-go snacks. Kids under 17 stay free; call ahead regarding baby-sitting services for younger ones.

    First of all, make reservations. There is also a dress code: no jeans, hats, etc. When we first entered the restaurant, it was "same". We were a family of four, so we had four waiters. I won't ruin the rest^-^. The scene was great and so was the food. I recommend the buffalo dish. Warning: Very Expensive!! One dinner was over $200. n

    The Scene International hotel guests and locals indulge in the understatedly elegant dining room and patio overlooking the resort's pool and golf course. Even before the first course arrives, the staff dazzles diners with top-notch, polished-but-not-pretentious service. The Food James Beard 2000 Best Chef Southwest Janos Wilder and executive chef Sandy Garcia use indigenous Arizona ingredients in classically-inspired preparations. Locally-pressed olive oil comes with baked-on-premises breads. Produce is grown by Gila River Community school children. Even the Pisces Aqua Farm shrimp is locally-raised. Though the menu changes seasonally, popular selections like the gazpacho-style shrimp cocktail appetizer and wild boar bacon-wrapped beef tenderloin are constants.
