"Shenanigans" collects 14 Green Day rarities, B-sides and covers, and is able to put them all together in under 34 minutes. Yes this is a short album, but it's another awesome burst of Green Day, and the fact that I picked it up for all of 7 dollars gives me no reason to complain. Among these songs as the fast-paced, country-influenced and quite funny "Don't Wann Fall In Love", the instrumental "Espionage" which could very well be the theme to a spy show on TV, the loud, in-your-face "I Wanna Be On TV" which is reminiscent of classic Ramones and Sex Pistols, and a cover of both the Ramones "Outsider", and the Kinks' "Tired Of Waiting For You", both of which are great covers. Well, there's not much else to say here, the music is great and inside the booklet we get more amusing pictures of the band in their...well, shenanigans! Be sure to pick this up if you want more great Green Day. Thanks for the time, and peace.

Shenanigans collects b-side tracks from the albums DOOKIE through WARNING. If you didn't know any better, this could easily pass as an actual album. It's filled top to bottom with the catchy, high energy pop-punk that Green Day is known for. The stand out tracks for me are: Desensitized, Do Da Da, Ha Ha Your Dead, Suffocate, Scumbag, You Lied, Tired of Waiting, Don't Wanna Fall In Love. The Song "Espionage" was recorded for the first Austin Powers soundtrack. My only complaint is that the songs "J.A.R.", "Maria" & "Poprocks & Coke" weren't on this. Buying INTERNATIONAL SUPERHITS! for 3 songs is kinda sucky. Tracks 9 & 13 = DOOKIE b-sides. Tracks 5,7 & 12 = INSOMNIAC b-sides. Tracks 1,2,3,6,10 & 11 = NIMROD b-sides. Tracks 4 & 8 = WARNING b-sides. Track 14 was previously unreleased. Cover songs: "Outsider" by The Ramones. "I Want To Be On T.V." by Fang. "Tired of Waiting for You" by The Kinks.

Even though Shenanigans didnt have any hits, I'd have to day that this is the Best Green Day album ever. Also to mention there's a Romones cover too. (Outsider)

This is one of the best Green Day CD's and overall one of the best CD's ever! The best tracks are Espionage (Track 6), Scumbag (Track 8), Tired Of Waiting For You (Track 9, which is originally by the band Kinks), and Ha Ha You're Dead (Track 14). The last track (Ha Ha You're Dead) is the by far the best track and one of my favorite songs. The cover and the inside artwork is amazing; the inside artwork is a collage of all of the Green Day albums since Dookie. Plus, Billie Joe Armstrong is REALLY cute, which to me is reason enough to buy the CD! :D

This cd was pretty ok, most of the songs were catchy and punk style, but i also wish they could of put the lyrics to the songs in the booklet! Oh well, pretty good album to add to your Green Day collecion!

I thought that this cd was very good. I know it's basically a bunch of their songs that they never released, hence didn't make it on any of their previous cds but it's still a very good cd. It really shows the different stages that Green Day as a band went through in terms of maturity through their music. My favourite song has got to be "Ha Ha You're Dead". Great cd overall and I recommend it to all Green Day fans.
