I won't say who since that's their deal and I don't need to go playing in their muck and such, but somebody I know is getting divorced and this is a key factor. She wants kids and I guess he wants ten more years of childhood for himself. Dude makes me look grown up!

I am beyond having children but anyone who likes kids and does well with them can be good whether they're their own or someone elses.

If the Boy/Girlfriend keeps bugging you they want a child, and you definetly don't want one, then it's a major issue. Having similar views on this one is very important.

It is significant for me that my partner and I establish common grounds when it comes to making big decisions because we would be able to avoid any problems that arise because of these things

I've got a teenage son close to being out of high school. Very proud of him too. I'm good with a woman that has kids too, and if she wants more... I'm open to it.

Contrary to the picture on this one, I love kids and I want to have some. Two or three would be nice...not really into having 12-15 like some families I know of, but I do want kids.

This is a big one for me considering I already have a child and she is my whole world and I do plan on having some more. But, it's all good cause I have an amazing boyfriend who does love my daughter as his own and we do plan on having more. :)

this is a huge issue with a lot of young couples! It's extremely important to be on the same page on issues like children, because if you want 6 kids and your significant other doesn't like kids and doesn't want any, then what are you two going to do about it?

I don't dislike kids, per se, but I'm really not interested in having any. It helped break up my last serious relationship, as she seemed to be anticipating the house with the white picket fence and 2.3 kids. I was anticipating...well, not that.

no matter what they are, they should be shared--and two people who agree to marry or share their lives and want different things, are set up for failure--thinking you are gonna change their mind is just asking for trouble...and by the way, not just views on having children, but all views...however, thsi should be a mutual view...where as politics and other views are not really needed to match,in order to have a successful relationship--duh
