Unlike Frank, I didn't have the good sense to stay away from it. I can't recall the exact circumstances that caused me to see it, but I suspect a woman was involved. As to what I thought of it, everyone connected with the making of it should be flogged. I have seldom seen a movie that repelled me more.

Probably the worst film I've seen in my life. George Burns singing "When I'm 64" when he was really about 3,008... Creating a plot by taking Beatles songs and stitching them together? The Bee Gees, Peter Frampton, and the rest of them were awful. Earth, Wind, and Fire's hit rendition of "Got To Get You Into My Life" actually wasn't bad, but everything else about this atrocity was...

THIS IS ON MY Top 10 List of Movies, right up there with "It's a Wonderful Life", "Grease", "Saturday Night Fever", "Forrest Gump", "Casablancha", "Gone with the Wind". This is a real gem of a CLASSIC Movie, especially if you like 70's music. It features: Aerosmith, Peter Frampton, the Bee Gees, Alice Cooper, and Earth, Wind and Fire just to name a few of the stars. I recently let my kids watch it(Boy 10, Girl 7). THEY LOVED IT! My son told me, "There is a lot of great music in the movie". He listens to the soundtrack all the time. We love the ending of the movie, when Billy Preston saves the day! How can anyone like that, I just don't understand. Anyway, this movie is a great movie for any music fan! A must have.

This movie is so bad, pointless and wastes a lot of talent, except for the Bee Gees who suck. This movie should have never been made, it is horrifficly bad. If you are any kind of Beatles fan do not see this movie. If you are not a Beatles fan do not see this movie. It is probably one of the worst movies ever made. The only redeaming thing about it is Aerosmiths Version of Come Together.

Very campy. I like it for nostalgic reasons. This is one you either love or hate. Those who hate it, I don't blame you one bit. It's definitely an aquired taste.

So someone had the bright idea of making a movie out of this landmark 60s album, and they chose Peter Frampton and the Bee Gees to star in it, of all people. No wonder the 70s get a bad rap.

I would like to been there when they came up with the idea for this movie. Let's make a musical movie about The Beatles and not have The Beatles! Then who will replace them? The Bee Gees! Great idea!

This piece of trash is a total embarassment to anyone even remotely associated with it, an insult to the underlying concept that was gravely compromised and perverted, and total torture to anyone who might happen to view it. It's a quest for failure when one tries to develop a feature film from something as minor and narrow as an album concept, but the pinheads who bankrolled and churned out this bucket of vomit apparently didn't let caveat thinking get in their way. And any creative project with The World's Lamest Pop Band, those absolutely obnoxious, tone deaf and wimped out Bee Gees, is doomed to be a total disaster. Involving those pathetic Beatle-wannabes in this suspect initiative was the final Death Sentence.

I can't say I thought it was that great. The Bee Gees ahould have bought the rights from universal to stop it being released. A few good scenes though

This film wastes a lot of talent except for Aerosmith who suck! The only redeeming thing about this film is a few well performed songs by the Bee Gees!

The movie is so campy that it's good. The Bee Gees do save the film even though they don't speak one word of dialogue. As a side note, the Bee Gees begged to get out of this film, but their contract obligations forced them to remain.

The story was silly and pointless but the singing of the Bee Gees saved the whole thing. They made it worthwhile

You have to be interested in The Bee Gees and enjoy their music to enjoy any part of this 1978 film starring the Bee Gees. It's kind of goofy, and the lights and colors are terribly bright and too-disco for me. Steve Martin I think shows up in this, and that's kind of strange, but I guess that he needed some hard cash, so he chose this.
