Serena is an incredible hair stylist (and one of the sweetest people I have ever met)! She was my stylist at Backstage Salon in Albany, GA. Serena is really good at listening to your ideas and thoughts about what you want colored or cut, etc. done to your hair and producing a great result from those ideas. She was especially helpful when I had no ideas... when I just knew I needed a change; sometimes minor, sometimes major. I think that the most important quality one seeks in a stylist is TRUST, and Serena certainly gained my trust right off the bat! I knew that whatever she did would look great, all the while being conscientious of my personally conservative style. =) She is very personable and has a wonderful rapport with fellow stylists, various coworkers, and definitely with her clients. Serena is a wonderful make up artist and a lifesaver! The night before I was set to film an episode of a local show I realized that I didn't have anyone scheduled to do makeup and e-mailed Serena. She got back to me quickly and let me know that she would be available the next day to help me out. She arrived the next morning and promptly got to work. Serena is enjoyable to be around and great at what she does. If you're in need of someone to make you look extra pretty, Serena needs to be your go to girl! She's the best.

Serena is a total professional! She made me feel like I was her only customer for that day! She LISTENS to want you want, then uses her experience and artistic talent to make it happen! I could tell that I was not just another person sitting in her chair..she takes pride in her work! She did an awesome job on my hair--I felt like a million bucks when she was finished! I walked into my appointment with Serena and knew I wanted to go back to my natural color, but did not know exactly what I wanted to do. I told Serena to just make it all dark and she would not do it because she said as a blonde, I would never be happy with it all dark. I am so glad she convinced me not to do it. She flopped my hair around and said she would be right back. Nearly three hours later (I have a lot of hair), I had the best color that I did not even have to describe to her and the perfect cut that I needed. Serena truly has a gift for looking at your hair and coming up with a vision and knows exactly what color and cut to get you there! I would recommend her hands down over any stylist in the ATL!

I've known Serena for several years and she has always had wonderful ideas, whether it's in outfit choices or hair/make-up. A few months before she moved to Atlanta, my hair stylist moved to Oregon. I had no idea who I should go to in Atlanta. I decided to go to Serena and I am so glad that I did! She took me from dull blonde to head-turning blonde. Her cuts are also awesome. I agree that she truly has a gift for looking at your hair and coming up with a vision and knows exactly what color and cut to give. In a few weeks I am going red, and I know it will look fantastic!

Serena was my hair stylist for a little over a year until she moved to Atlanta. She always made me feel at ease and I totally trusted her recommendations for cut and/or color. I always left the salon feeling and looking great! She is a total pro and perfectionist and will never give anything but her best. She applies these same principles when doing makeup as well. She did my makeup for both my engagement pictures and my wedding. She knows how to bring out your best features without making you look overdone. I highly recommend her!

Serena is an awesome stylist! She was one of the best in Albany, GA, and will no doubt be one of the best in Atlanta! She's experienced, knows what she is doing and has a natural knack for figuring out what looks good and works for each individual client. She is a pure pro. She is down to earth, honest and probably the nicest stylist I have ever been to!

Best hair cut ever. Serena is cute, fun and amazingly talented. I was scared to cut my hair short AND having just moved to Atlanta I didn't know who I could trust, but I couldn't stand looking at the yucky damaged ends anymore. Serena did a fantastic job-- my hair feels healthy and super happy :)

Best haircut in atlanta. The only complaint... i have to carry a stick to keep the girls off.
