Have used product for over two seasons. Works well, but can't let grass get too tall. Note not a one pass mow. You may need to do a cross hatch mow to be more effective. I do enjoy the exercise and lack of noise.

I bought this mower for my yard last summer. It's easy to use and does a good job, but only as long as you do a good job keeping up with your yard work. For the areas of my yard that the grass is in good condition, watered regularly, and I've grown new grass, this mower has done an excellent job. I usually mow once a week because I don't want the grass to get too long and have trouble mowing it, so it keeps me a bit more pro-active with the yard work. However, my yard is currently a work in progress since the person I bought my house from left it full of weeds and crab grass. It doesn't cut low enough to get the weeds, and any tall grass, weeds, or crab grass (like over 8 inches) will just get pushed to ground and the mower will roll over it, not cut it. Obviously, this caused me some problems, and I'll have to pull out the weed whacker and go around the yard getting these areas and that can take some time. My only other negative is sometime I'll be pushing along at a mode... Read more

I purchased this mower at the beginning of summer, 2008, after reading a lot of reviews all around. On the whole, my experience has been very positive. This mower is easy to push---it's just as easy as any other push mower I've ever used. It's low maintenance. You don't have to mess with gas and oil. It isn't noisy, it isn't generating a ton of noxious emissions, it isn't throwing up dust (for those of us who suffer from allergies, this is a big deal). Set up was a snap. Using it is simple. The only drawback is that this mower doesn't handle tall weeds (>6") very well at all. I had to go through with a weedwacker to get those. Also, it's tough to get right up next to a curb. Other than that, I have no complaints (even though I have gotten many strange looks and questions about it).

I got this mower when my electric one broke, and I've used it a couple of times now. Firstly, it cuts the grass very well so there are fewer brown tips (the day after). Secondly, it very easy to push and maneuver around. Since my old mower was out of commission the grass was very tall when I finally got this new one. My experience with this tall grass was that the reel mower would bog down after a few feet and needs to be backed up and charged forward again. After an initial pass it got much easier to push, but the cutting was still uneven. After a second pass things got much nicer. Overall, I think I went over the yard 4 times to get a perfect cut. Now that the grass is not overgrown, one pass is enough, and I've got 2K sq ft to cut. Pros: Easier to push than a heavier gas or electric mower. Cleaner cut. Quiet. Finely cut grass acts as mulch. Cons: Harder to mow when grass is very tall. Not good on uneven ground, like near lawn / planting bed borders. This mower perfo... Read more

Just got it for our new home which has about a quarter acre lawn. It took about a half hour to get all unpacked and put together, and when I started mowing my wife decided it looked fun so she mowed the lawn. I've only used it once, but it cuts and rolls great and is easy to adjust cutting height. I looked around about an hour online and this seemed to get the best reviews. Now it's snowing so I won't have to mow for a few months. Will update if there are any issues...
