My wife enjoyed this show but I never enjoyed it much. Pretty good cast and writing just too slow paced. Might have been good as a half-hour show.

i still wonder how bruce boxleitner has managed to earn a living on television. someone must like him because he keeps getting recycled into new shows. he hasnt killed off star trek yet.

I can't believe this is STILL not on DVD, espacially with all the dreck out there that is. The mix of spy biz, comedy, and romance was great in this show.

This show's music was unbelievable. It was a rarity...the ACTION ADVENTURE COMEDY TV SHOW. The type of show that is sorely missed in today's crap load of reality TV garbage. The action was awesome.

Watched the show when it was in reruns on the Family Channel in the 90's. Such a cute show and just loved Bruce Boxleitner. Now he's a real man......lucky Melissa Gilbert. Kate Jackson was real cute too. Would love to see a reunion movie, maybe a series of movies on the Hallmark Channel like they have going now. A new movie once a month. WHEN are the suits going to release this show on DVD?

What the hell was this show about? Kate Jackson was great on Charlies Angels, and deserves 3 stars for being on this obscure drivel.

Wholesome, action, romance -- what more could people ask for. I wish shows were more like this today. I would buy the entire series if it were on DVD.

This show was great. keeping in mind that it was made and took place in the 1980's at the end of the cold war it was pretty good. the bad guys even had a heart sometimes. this show was funny and sweet. i miss that on television, where everything now has to contain swears or nudity in order to be popular. I was only 7 when this show came out and i became a fan in the early 90's when it was on the Family channel. Very few things on tv have ever kept my loyalty like that. it says a great deal about the show that there are so many people of different ages who love it and watch it if it shows up on tv 20 years after it began.

Desperate, in very much trouble spy utilizes his only & possibly last option, pass off the top-secret intelligence to an unsuspecting suburban mother. What follows is four seasons of mayhem, suspense, humor, intrigue, drama, romantic tension, and fantastic character development that mesh with covert intelligence, defecting citizens, terrorists, assasination plots, kidnapped Federal Agents, the ex-husband, the doomed Porsche, bombings, the beloved Corvette, the station wagon that kept getting abused, death threats, secrets kept and secrets revealed, two rambunctious but loveable boys, ex-girlfriends, supposed dead people who have a way of popping up from the past, and some pretty nasty supervisors who have no apprecation for agents who bend the rules to suit the case and their loveable section chief who understands a lot more than he lets on. Nearly three full seasons into it and wham, the divorced mom from Arlington and the orphaned spy who spent his childhood shuffled from one milita... Read more

How can you not love a show like this? The dialogue is hilarious, the characters brilliantly cast, the romance aspect of the show is intriguing without being sappy, while the action leaves you begging for more. This is my all-time favorite show. Shame on anyone who would call it boring -- that's the last thing this show could ever be.

There was a girl I went to high school with who was in love with Bruce Boxleitner, and she would never do anything with us on Monday nights because it would mean she would miss Scarecrow and Mrs. King. Now, I liked the show alright, but not nearly that much. The plot, which included a housewife getting involved with espionage, was a little farfetched.

One of the best shows ever. Funny, witty, subtle, great chemistry between the characters, and the fabulous Bruce Boxleitner. I only discovered it on PAX, having missed its original run in the 80's, but hope to see the entire series intact, cut scenes restored, on television again someday soon.

SMK is one of my favorite TV shows of all time. It has it all, Romance (the make your heart thump kind, not the 'jump in the sack' kind) Humor, Action and Chemistry; between two of the best looking people in TV. It's not surprising to me that it garners new fans even now, many of which wern't even born when it stopped filming in '87!
