I found that the placement of the neck hole, [more than 7"] from the back of the unit, is somewhat uncomfortable for me. I have to place my chair to the front of the unit, thereby causing me to not be able to place my feet flat on the foot pad. If the neck hole was closer to the back of the unit, say 2-3", I would be able stretch out more, making it alot more comfortable. Also the unit needs a ceramic heater to get hot enough for a good sweat, in my opinion. I'm 5'11" tall, if you're smaller, this might not be a problem.

This sauna works as expected. The chair isn't exactly comfortable but it's ok. The quality of construction is good. I don't think I'd tear it down and put it back up all the time, it's easier to just leave it ready to use (as long as you have the space for it). The timer will only allow you to set an initial time of 20 minutes maximum but you can add time on at 5 minutes per click. The temperature is very good but the ceramic heater can blow hot air on your legs that can be uncomfortable. They say to just wipe it clean after usage but I find it works nicer to sit on a towel and have a towel under your feet (then just toss the towels in the laundry). It also works better to wrap a towel around your neck so that it seals the heat in better and is more comfortable (and keeps the neck area clean and dry). Reading a book isn't very comfortable, it's nicer to watch TV or listen to music or a lecture. I find that I develop a better sweat if I go for a walk or run before using... Read more
